Roses and Wine

We got these lovely roses from our best friends this Friday.

And I got to drink Glühwein.
That's a spicy wine that you drink hot. It was very tasty!

A Small Mail Update

A small update on cool mail I received just before Christmas.

I received a signed copy of Full Blooded by Amanda Carlson. I won it in a giveaway she held together with her street team.

This really cool piggy Christmas card I got from Bob! He told me the snow on the card is yellowish because some bears got there first. Hmmm....

Thanks Bob!

Christmas Cards

We got lots of beautiful Christmas cards.
A big thank you to all the people and animals who send us these great cards!

My owner and I are really behind on sending out mail, so we'll probably be sending out New Year cards once again.

A Birthday Party

Last Sunday we went to a birthday party at a Texan style restaurant. It was cool, but a bit dark, so we didn't get many pictures.

My owner and me had a Strawberry Margarita!

Random fun on the way home.

Sinterklaas Brought More Presents

This Saturday Sinterklaas brought a big bag full of presents for us and some of our friends. Me and my owner got some really cool gifts.

We got two books!
The Reapers Are The Angels is a post-apocalyptic story with zombies. The House of Velvet and Glass is about a woman who visits mediums to try to contact her mother and sister who died in the sinking of the Titanic. Both books sound really intriguing and I can't wait to read them.

We also got a great game called Dixit.
We already tried it out. It's really fun and I love the artwork.

There was also the traditional and very yummy chocolate letter and a cool woolly hat

And a bag of bones!
The skull has red glowing eyes. Isn't that cool?!

All in all we had a great evening and I'm very happy with our presents.

Thanks Sinterklaas!

Sinterklaas also left a gift for Jeffe at our house, we'll have to find the time to send it to her soon.

Snow and Lots of Presents!

It has been snowing again and this time it was cold enough that the snow didn't melt immediately. We made some lovely walks in the snow, but it was after sunset so we didn't take any pictures.

Yesterday at work there was a present waiting for me which was left by Sinterklaas.

It was a chocolate letter, a traditional Sinterklaas gift.

And look what was waiting for us when we got home!
A big pile of presents that were send by Melliane.

There were three books for me and Voodoo Bride.

And all kinds of yummy treats.

Thank you, Melliane!
We're very happy with all these cool presents.

Clouds and a Card

A couple of days ago we took a walk and I saw this beautiful sky.

And I got a card from Sandy!
He says the people who used to live in Akumal buried their dead in their house. Imagine what would happen if there was a zombie-apocalypse in Akumal! There'd be zombies everywhere!

Thanks Sandy!

Sinterklaas

It's Sinterklaas (St. Nicholas Eve) today so yesterday me, the Armadillo and Louis the Lice got to put out our shoe.

Because none of us had shoes we borrowed two. We sang songs for Sinterklaas and we put an apple with the shoes for Sinterklaas' horse.

Now we just had to wait and see if Sinterklaas would bring us a present.

This morning it was snowing!
I wonder if that's a present from Sinterklaas?
It wasn't cold enough for the snow to stay though.

But there were also presents in the shoes!

How exciting!

One of the presents was for me and my owner and it turned out to be a book. It sounds like a really cool read. It's a Dystopian story about two sisters who try to escape a death camp.

Thanks Sinterklaas!

My owner told me that just maybe Sinterklaas will drop by with even more presents this weekend, but only if he thinks we've been good this year.
