A Walk, Games, and a Movie

 

Last Friday we went for a walk into town.

As we walked through the park I noticed the snowdrops were blooming!

I had to stop for a picture of the New Church. 

And here's Martini Tower spam.

On the way back home the sun was setting.

On Saturday we went to play games with friends. 

We got new Dinosaurs for Dinosaur Island!

We played Villagers, which turns out to be a really fun game!

And it has pigs in it!

On Monday we went to the movies.

We saw Nosferatu: it was amazing!

Gilbert: Games, Fun, and More

 

We've been taking things easy, but we had to try our new game Komeet (Comet). So Sullivan and I played against each other.

It turns out to be a really fun and tactical game.

You get to guide animals to a cave to hide for the comet. Once in the cave they give you bonus actions, and points at the end of the game.

I thought I did really well and could smell victory, but Sullivan managed to beat me. We will definitely play this more often.

I received a Bus Bingo prize from Beanie.

I finished the 3D Dino with the help of Aidan.

As it is almost our birthday, my owner and me were invited to an early and small celebration by three friends.

They had cake, balloons, and presents!

We got these really awesome cheese dice.

And a dinosaur game!

My owner has wanted this game for a long time, so we were very happy to get it.

Her friends had aready learned the rules of the game by playing it online, so we could immediately play it.

It is a really good and fun game with cool artwork.

You have to create the most popular dinosaur amusement park to win.

There were also snacks.

Yum!

My dinosaur amusement park slowly grew.

I will confess we might have bought stuff for the park that was cool instead of stuff that would let us win.

In te end we lost, but we had lots of fun.

Another game we will play a lot more often!

It was an awesome early birthday celebration.

Gilbert - Birthday fun!

 

Last week was our birthday!

The birthday fun started a day early: my owner's friends turned Game Night into a small Dinosaur themed Surprise Party!

There were also dinosaur balloons, a dinosaur Happy Birthday banner, and lots of other dinosaur decorations.

We got presents: a new Final Girl expansion, warm socks, cool dino and hippo stickers, and a new key chain.

After a delicious dinner we played Stone Age. It was a really fun game, don't believe people who tell you it's just like Catan.

We did take a break for birthday cake of course!

It was a really awesome evening.

We got to take the happy birthday banner home. It fit perfectly with the other birthday decorations our owner's Other Half put up for us!

On our birthday there was birthday pie.

We got books from Melliane (two of them pictured here)

We got to open the birthday box from Miki.

There was a box in the mail with a cool card for our owner from her Other Half.

Once taken out of the box it was a beautiful bouquet! What a fun way to receive flowers.

Next we went into town were my owner got to pick even more presents.

She got these cool dinosaur and flamingo socks.

And these books.

I'm very curious about the middle one, it has dinosaurs. 

We also had a drink at Hooghoudt.

And a yummy late lunch/early dinner!

In the evening we relaxed and had drinks, snacks and cheese. It was a very cool birthday.

We went to a Chinese restaurant where they had very yummy food.

And my owner got a sparkly birthday dessert!

It was a really fun and awesome evening.

On Saturday we played games with friends all day!

Another  fun and awesome day!

Gilbert - December Fun

 

Before I post about my birthday which was last week, here's an update of December things.

I got a marzipan piggy.

I visited friends and we played Yak! It was a fun game.

We went out for dinner with friends. My owner got a burger, but it tasted a bit fishy according to her. The French Fries were good though.

And dessert was delicious!

WE had a really fun Christmas with good food and good company. We forgot to take pictures though!

And we got presents!

Melliane sent us books (two of them are pictured here).

Miki sent us lots of yummy treats and presents.

I love this lucky charm!

And there was a birthday box as well! We had to wait to open that one though.
