A Book, a Card and Goodies

I received another book from Melliane!
She sent Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews.

Thanks Melliane!

I also got a beautiful card from Bob and Dilly.

Thanks Guys!

My owner got a box full of goodies at work.
I helped her with unpacking it.

Hmmm, what's this?
Some kind of skillet... Not what I was hoping for.

Oh, I think I hit the mother lode.

Beer! Yum.

My owner thought there were other cool things in the box as well, but I liked the beer the best.

A Place to Hang My Hat, and More

Yesterday it was Sinterklaas (St. Nicholas Eve) and we celebrated of course.

We had dinner with friends and after dinner there were lots of presents from Sinterklaas for all of us.

I got some really cool presents, like a book, a game, yummy food and a beautiful Christmas tree ornament (You'll see the ornament soon, when we have our tree).

And....

I got this:

A special display case for my hats!
Isn't it beautful?! I will put my favorite hats in there, so I can find them when I need them.

There was more cool stuff today.

There was a package from Melliane with two books. I'm very curious about them.

We also got our first Christmas card.
This cheeky bear was sent to me by Bob T. Bear.

Thanks Sinterklaas, Melliane and Bob!

A Card and A Walk Where I Meet a Tiger

This Friday I received a card from Bob & Dilly!
They sent a beautiful card of a hedgedragon.

Thanks Bob & Dilly!

That evening we went for a walk.

The sun was setting and the sky looked beautiful.

On our way home I spotted a tiger in a tree!

I went over to talk to him and he was a bit aloof, but willing to have a chat.

He told me he was in the tree guarding against zombies.
I didn't spot any zombies that evening, so he must be doing a good job.

A Small Mail Update

A small update on cool mail I received just before Christmas.

I received a signed copy of Full Blooded by Amanda Carlson. I won it in a giveaway she held together with her street team.

This really cool piggy Christmas card I got from Bob! He told me the snow on the card is yellowish because some bears got there first. Hmmm....

Thanks Bob!

Last Day of Work for 2010 and Mail

On the last day of work before our Christmas Holiday I noticed this small house with a sign that there was food and drink to be had!

Next to it there were huge pots filled with soup and there was special Christmas bread.

So we celebrated our upcoming Holiday with tomato soup and Christmas bread. Yum!

When we got home there was a lovely card for me from Helena, Bob T. Bear and Dilly! It has a picture of a Margaret Sherry hedgehog, so I think they know my owner loves the artwork of Margaret Sherry and if not it's a very lucky coincidence.

Someone who does know my owner's love for Margaret Sherry's artwork is her good friend Jan. And we got a package from Jan with a Margaret Sherry card (that Jan partly cross stitched herself) and a present! We put it under the tree so we can unwrap it at Christmas.

Helena, Bob, Dilly and Jan: Thanks so much!
I will say once again: I'm not forgetting you guys, but I'm very, very late in getting my own mail out.

Mail and a Pig with a Bug

I got even more mail from Hammie yesterday! When we went to our renovated house to see what needed to be done I found this lovely card.

And this morning there was yet another card!

It was from Beanie, Bob T. Bear and Dilly!
They got to meet up! How cool.

Thanks for the cards all of you!

At work I met a distant relative. He caught the travel bug and is always on the road to try to reach new destinations. One of my owner's collegues is helping him on his quest to travel to exciting new places. I think he's very brave, I wouldn't want to travel with just a bug, I need my owner with me.
