I'm still Around but Have Been a bit lazy in updating. I'll try to post a bit More often from now On Again.

Fun With LEGO's!

We went on a couple of short trips.

On the first One we had tea and cake In The Garden of an old monastery. It Was yummy and fun.

The next Day we went to IKEA. we had Fun Looking around the store and We stopped for Something to eat at the restaurant They didn't have our usual  Chicken sate so my owner tried the famous IKEA Meat Balls. I must Say I rather have Chicken because i didn't Trust the meat balls. It Was a fun outing though and I got to eat French Fries.

We had a delicious dinner in Beerta not long ago. The weather was Lovely and we had Great Company.

A fun trip Final episode

Before going home after our Amazing trip we had lunch at a beach Side restaurant and I got truffle Fries with parmesan cheese.  It Was Delicious.

 after That We drove back to Groningen.

We Had One Last stop for Something to drink at a... I don't even want to call it a restaurant because the Service was kind of terrible SO we Won't ever go there again. 

then we reached home in the afternoon. Thanks to my Amazing friend for this really cool weekend!

The Aquarium had an outside Area and When We went There we saw seals!

 It Was Impossible to stay 30 meters away from Them as the signs on the beach All Said!

 Lucky we weren't fined or forced to wait for 24 hours

Fun trip episode 7

After we visited The Beach In Bergen aan Zee, we decided to visit The Aquarium. It Wasn't really big, but it was lots of fun Looking At All The weird, Beautiful,and scary Creatures, and I even sat in the Mouth of a Shark!!! No Piggies were harmed.

A Fun trip episode 6

After our eventful day we took it easy the rest of the Day. Our friend went out for a drink and for reading in the sun while we relaxed at the hotel and when she got back She brought dinner! We ate on the balcony/terrace and made it an early Night. 

 The next day we first went into Schoorl itself to look at some shops,  and to Look At The One Big touristy Thing Which is called Klim Duin and Turned out to be a really High Sand Dune.

  After That's we wanted to go to the sea Again,  so we took a trip to Bergen aan Zee This Time. We spotted a sign that raised a lot of questions: you are not allowed to Touch seàls and stay at 30 meters distance. And then after that you can Look at Them through binoculars?

Luckily we didn't see any seals, so we Could Look at the sea and enjoy The sunny day Without needing binoculars or Waiting 24 hours.

A Fun trip? - part 5

After a trip to the beach we went to...I think it was called Petten. We had a drink at a touristy jungle themed restaurant. 

And then we visited a trunk sale. there was not a lot of cool stuff there so i can understand why people kept it in their trunk.

Then when we wanted to go to the hotel for some rest we had Car Trouble! The dashboard looked Like A Christmas Tree, which is not a good thing for a car I'm told.

Luckily we discovered this while we were still on the parking lot, so we had safe place to park again. Then we that wait for the repair guy to look at what was wrong with the car. There was not a lot to do on the parking lot so we went  back to where We had a drink earlier and we played a dice game to pass the Time

 We got a little peckish so we got yummy nachos. Finally repair guy arrived and a friend arrived as well so he could take me To The hotel for my overdue rest while my friend waited for the car to be fixed. Luckly de car could be fixed so it all turned out well and we could continue our fun trip.

A Fun trip - episode 4, I think

It was a sunny but very windy day so we took it easy and didn't take a very long walk on the beach especially when we saw that there were warnings you should not go into the Sea and silly people trying anyway and we didn't want to be there if there would be trouble. Luckily there were lifeguards on the beach so I'm fairly sure they could save the day if needed. 

Apart from silly people, it was a really Fun walk. We enjoyed sun and even struggling against the Wind It eas so lovely and beautiful there.

 When We Were tired we went to a Beach Café and had Hot Chocolate. Out of the wind behind glass It was even toasty with the sun shining on us.

All in all a wonderful start of the day.

A Fun trip - episode 3

After dinner we took a small walk.Then we retreated to our room to play a dice game before going to sleep.

The next day we had breakfast at the hotel. It was a really Great breakfast with yummy croissants and even chocolate bread.

Afer breakfast we went to a place called Callantsoog. We walked for a bit. And then I saw The Ocean! When  a cool trip!

A Fun trip - episode 2

In the evening we had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel We were staying at. I Had French Fries! We had a nice view: it looked like it finally was going to stop raining. I had Hot Chocolate as dessert.

A Fun Trip

This past weekend we've been on a trip with a friend. I will post about it in small episodes. Today the first episode:

 we drove to Schoorl en checked in to a hotel there. It was small, but lovely. Then we played a game While recovering from The long car ride.

Gilbert: Food and Games

 

I've been playing games and gone on a few short outings since my last post.

We had lunch in town and I got yummy mushrooms.

This is Maple Valley, which is a fun game where you prepare for a spring festival.

I bought a really awesome beer with a cool illustration.

We went to our favorite restaurant for a special celebration.

Where I got a Wasabini of course!

We played MLEM Space Agency: a game where you send cats on space missions.

And we played Sleeping Gods, an adventure game. I also got cake!

Wen grocery shopping in Germany we stopped for hot chocolate.

And we played Power Hungry Pets, a fun card game.

And my owner told me more games are on the way!

Gilbert: Schiermonnikoog last few days.

 

We had to get back to work, so that's why I didn't have time to blog about our trip last week.

After we made our way around the big lake that normally isn't there we finally got back on track. 

See: there's he light house in the distance.

We didn't take any pictures at the light house this time, as there was a lot of wind and we wanted to find a spot to sit and have something to eat and drink. When we finally found a spot it was far away from the light house,

After our break we continued our walk. We saw this house that was in  big lake as well. There's usually water around it, but not as much as there was now.

Back in the village we had Fried Fish! Yum!

We got groceries for dinner and relaxed for the rest of the day.

On Thursday we ha a lazy day. We did visit a friend in the afternoon which was really fun!

In the evening we went out for dinner and I had a Gin Tonic  Cocktail.

Friday was our last day!

We visited the tourist center and had hot chocolate with Amaretto at a hotel.

It was a nice hotel, but not as nice as the hotel Sullivan has stayed at, he says.

The weather was miserable.

So we decided to stay at the hotel a bit longer. 

We played pickomino while waiting for the rain to stop.

When it did get dry we made a last walk around he village.

Then it was time to catch a bus to the harbor and take the ferry.
