A Sunny Afternoon

After a grey day there was a little bit of sun in the late afternoon, so we took advantage of it and made a nice walk after work.

Package, Martini Tower Spam and More

There was a package for me and my owner today.

It was a book we won at Supernatural Underground: The Vampire and the Virgin by Kerrelyn Sparks. There were also two bookmarks and a postcard. Voodoo Bride was very happy with our win as it sounds like a very romantic vampire book.

This afternoon we went into town and I spotted this beautiful, old building.

And when we were grabbing a bite to eat at the restaurant in a large department store I saw the Martini Tower!

The restaurant was on the 4th floor and had a roof terrace so I went to the terrace to get an even better view on this beautiful tower.

Can you guess by now this is my favourite building in all of Groningen?

And when we got home I noticed one of the neighbourhood cats catching a bit of sun on our balcony. I think he was just as glad as me with this nice, sunny afternoon.

Hamsters!

My owner's OtherHalf brought home a pamphlet from one of the supermarkets and there were hamsters in it!

I bet some of these are relatives of Hammie. Aren't they cool!

Today as we were watching 3rd Rock from the Sun I spotted this t-shirt! So cool!!

Comic Books, Rain and what we bought

Today it was 'Gronings Ontzet'* and there was a comic book fair in the city. My owner's OtherHalf had a stand at the fair with some other comic book illustrators so we went there to have a look ofcourse.

But we barely got there when it started to rain so we didn't take any more pictures and went home. (Ofcourse it stopped raining as soon as we got home.)

My owner did buy a shirt at the comic book fair from a comic book illustrator called NAAM (NAME). Isn't it cool!?

And I got this cool button which is also from NAAM.


*"Gronings ontzet" is as a reminder of the liberation from "Bommen Berend" (Bombs Berend), Bishop of Munster, in 1672.

Work Randomness...
