Lucky the Elephant Has an Adventure

On December 15 it was a grey and rainy day, so when our owner was getting ready to go outside Sullivan and Gilbert were not so sure if they wanted to brave the rain. They decided to have a lazy day. Lucky the Elephant however went along.


It turned out there was a family dinner, and Lucky got to meet Candy the pug!


And Candy introduced Lucky to more fun animals.


There was even a platypus.


Lucky was very glad he'd come along. The other animals who attended the dinner were fun to hang out with.


The platypus even had cool sunglasses!


Lucky got to sit on top of one of the tallest animals so he could look around the restaurant.


It was a very enjoyable evening hanging out and talking with so many new friends.


Lucky even got to taste a Gin-Tonic


And 'bitterballen' in all kinds of yummy flavors.

And he got petted by our owner's niece.


The owl had sunglasses as well, because the owl thought it was a bit too bright at the restaurant. Lucky didn't think so, but Lucky isn't an owl of course,

A Birthday Visit and Snow

Last Sunday we went to visit my owner's family for a birthday. I got to meet up with Candy again. And it turned out one of my cousins was there as well.


My owner's niece made a beautiful pig for us!
Of course my owner forgot to take the pig home, so we'll have to visit again sometime to get it.


It started to snow.

There were bunnies with their own small house.


It kept snowing.


My owner's niece and one of my owner's nephews made a snowman. Isn't he cool!


At the end of the afternoon we went out for dinner.


Candy and I were very curious what was in this pan.


Mussels. Yum!


I also got to taste a truffle croquette.
Delicious.


We played with the flags that were stuck in the croquettes.


I got hot chocolate with Amaretto for dessert.


Candy helped me reach it.


In the evening we went back to Groningen.
It had snowed there as well.


It was a really fun day.

A New Friend and Yummy Food

Last weekend we went to Kampen for a birthday dinner.


I made a new friend there:
Candy the pug.


Candy is a very friendly pug and we had lots of fun together.


I got to eat clams.
They were very yummy.


Candy tried one as well.


I wasn't so sure about the next course even though my owner said it was venison.


Mushrooms! That's more like it.


Candy liked the French fries the best.


But that's not a French fry!


Candy gave the pencil to her owner who used the pencil to draw pictures of us.


Next we got to select dessert.


Candy picked a mug full of ice cream with whipped cream on top.


I got chocolate ice cream with vanilla sauce. Yum!

It was a really fun evening with very yummy food!

Happy Pig, Drooling Bride

Today there were lots of cool surprises.

First I got little marzipan and chocolate piggies from my owner's OtherHalf. They're fun and yummie!

there was also lots of mail:

My ower got a package which included this cool frowny stressball keyring that she gave to me!

There was also a package from Beanie!
I won his monthly giveaway and he send me 10 of his beautiful found-art items! I especially love the CD and the Good Luck card.

And these two books made Voodoo Bride drool.
We got The Goblin King from Caro and I won Heart of Steel over at Velvet's blog.

Candy and yet another Hat

I got a bag of candy from one of our co-workers at work today!

And we bought another hat.
This one is red and I gave it to my brother Dougal because it matches his pants.
