Swag and Books in My Mail

Yesterday there was a package for us from Jeffe.


There was lots of cool swag inside from Gini Koch.
Jeffe met Gini at a convention and Gini gave these cards, magnets and sticker to Jeffe for me and Voodoo Bride! There's even a card of Gini's upcoming book Camp Alien.


And there were amazing goodies from Jeffe herself as well!
An ARC of The Pages of the Mind, a print copy of Dark Secrets, and bookmarks and a little memo book. How awesome!

So if you wonder where I'll be the next few days: drooling over the cool swag, and reading and petting my books!

High Tea, Books, and Other Awesome Things

Today Aurian and Freya paid me and my owner a visit for our birthday!

They brought lots of books and goodies, but more about that later.

We spent a couple of hours chatting, before we went to 't Feithhuis, a restaurant in the center of Groningen.
('t Feithhuis means the Feith House. Feith being the name of a family that used to own the building the restaurant is in.)


We were going to be served a High Tea.
I got Mango tea.


And we got all these yummy snacks!


Especially the scones, muffin and quiches looked very tasty!

We had a great time tasting all those delicious snacks, and we talked some more about books, and other fun things. It was a really great afternoon.

It's right across the street from the Martini church and Martini tower.


At the end of the afternoon Aurian and Freya had to travel back to Utrecht.

I got busy with drooling over all the books and goodies:

We also got cider and rum from Aurian and Freya.
Yum, yum.


Aurian got us magnets, and signed bookplates and postcards from the Katherine "Kitty" Katt series by Gini Koch. It's one of our favorite series, so we're very happy with this cool present.

And last, but certainly not least:

We got a picture that Suzanne Johnson made especially for me and my owner! She sent it to Aurian, so Aurian could surprise me.
You can't see it in this picture, but on the hat it says: Sullivan McPig Rocks. Isn't that cool?! I'm very happy with it!

So all in all we had an awesome day and got lots of cool books and presents!

Books!

I know: I'm not doing anything besides posting about my mail at the moment, but I hope to have some fun pictures for you soon. I'm going to help my owner find a costume for Halloween this weekend. But on to my mail:


I had two awesome books in my mail today!
I received an early copy of Universal Alien by Gini Koch for review. I also received The Demon's Covenant by Sarah Rees Brennan, my owner got it for me with a gift certificate.

I'm really looking forward to reading both books.

I won the big giveaway at Gini Koch's blog and she send me lots of cool goodies. Signed copies of both The Night Beat and Alexander Outland, cards, posters, a pen and:

Spam, Spam, Beautiful Bookish Spam

Today there were two books in our mail!

I received Hell Fire from Stella.
I was having trouble getting hold of this book myself, but Stella not only found it, she ordered it for me as well.

The other book in our mail was for Voodoo Bride.
Gini send her a translated and signed copy of 'Spirit of the Mist' by Janeen O'Kerry. What a cool surprise.

Shopping for Presents

Today we had our first outing in over a week.
My owner had to buy presents for some birthdays and she also was going to buy a present for me!

I saw this pig, who doubled as a huge slipper) at our favorite store (Hammie knows which one I mean).

And at a toy shop I spotted a piggy game!
In this game you have to lure a pig from a muddy field, but if you do it wrong the pig farts. I asked my owner if she would get me the piggy game, but she said she wasn't going to buy me a game with a farting pig.

My owner finally did buy me something when I was taking a nap in her bag, so I didn't see what she got me and she told me I will have to wait until Monday to get my present. I'm so curious!!

Luckily there was some awesome mail when we got home to take my mind of the mysterious present:

Gini Koch send us an Advanced Reader Copy of her next book: Alien Diplomacy.
She also send us some awesome signed cards and some magnets and such. How's that for an early birthday present!?

Aliens in the Mail

Yesterday there was a package for me.
It had Gini Koch's Alien Collective logo on it.

Alien Proliferation is the 4th book in Gini's Katherine (Kitty) Katt series (which is a really awesome series, I can tell you) and it will officially be released on December 6th. Guess why I didn't post on this blog yesterday:

There were two packages waiting for us when we got home from work today. One of them had tentacles on it!

There was even a Sullivan wannabe tentacle!
Isn't that cool: I have tentacle fans!

Small update and lots of cool mail

We moved backed to our home this Tuesday. There were lots of boxes once again.

It was weird to see the temporary house get empty again.

When all our stuff was moved backed to our home we decided to treat ourselves before we had to more painting, redecorating and unpacking so we went out for dinner.

At the Ni Hao Wok restaurant ofcourse!!



On the day of our move there was a package for my owner from Gini Koch with a Housewarming present. Just look what was in it for me!

Aliens in the Mail

There was a package for my owner when we got home from work. She told me there might be something in it for me too when she saw who send it.

And there was!!
It was from one of my favourite authors: Gini Koch. I got a postcard and magnets. Aren't they cool!

Look: she signed the postcard for me!

Gini: You rock!
I can't wait for the release of Alien Tango.

My Own Signed Bookplate!

Today my owner recieved a package from Gini Koch, the author of 'Touched by an Alien'. In it was lots of cool stuff for my owner including the signed Limited Edition Gini Bag you can see on this picture, but there was also something in it for me and Voodoo Bride!

I will save it and put it in one of Gini's upcoming books. In my interview with Gini she said that maybe she'll write a book that has pig-like creatures in it, so I think I'll save it for that book.

And Voodoo Bride got her own signed bookplate too. She's very happy with it!
