A Walk, A Present, and Muffins

We haven't been doing much lately, but last Sunday we went for a walk.

It was grey and cloudy, but dry.

This horse didn't seem to mind the grey weather. Not very chatty though, just interested in grazing.

Yesterday we received a present from G.

A beautiful blanket in our owner's favorite colors!

It's a really awesome blanket. Hand-crocheted by G. and big and warm! We are over the moon with this special gift.

We also got two buttons, and fun decorative hippos.

And a piggy tissue holder!
So cool.

Here's one of the decorative hippos.

We put the blanket on the sofa bed in our owner's workroom. The colors really fit the color scheme of the room. As if it's made for it!

Today Gilbert helped make Speculaas Muffins.

We went for a fall theme with pumpkins and fall leaves.

Especially the leaves came out looking very cool.

And they are super yummy!

Bookish Goodies

There was a package for me yesterday!
I won a giveaway on Instagram by Danielle L. Jensen

I got two tins of tea, a candle, a pen, body butter and scrub, and an audio book! I received the audio book on my Audible account, but Danielle included a signed card of the book.

How awesome!

Stay tuned for more awesomeness tomorrow.

A Zombie and a Present

Last Saturday we went to the fair.
There weren't any fun rides, but we did play a game and won a zombie!

The zombie is missing all kinds of body parts.
You can assemble the zombie to make him complete.

You can even make a game out of it by setting a timer and trying to assemble the zombie before time runs out and he falls apart again, but as it's tricky enough to get him assembled without the platform he's on turning and shaking, I'll practice a bit first before playing the timed game.

Yesterday I got a present.
I wonder what Lakrids means...

There was liquorice inside!
I got a chocolate covered liquorice and a jar full of Habanero Chili Liquorice. Yum!

Thanks, E.!

Hippo and Dinosaurs in my Mail

There was a hippo bookmark in my mail this week!

Hammie and G. bought it for us, but forgot to give it to us when we met on Monday. Isn't it just awesome!?

I got a lollipop from my owner's OtherHalf this Friday.

And Dino-stickers for my dino book yesterday!
They were send to us by family of my owner. I also received stickers from co-workers and friends. I think it's awesome that so many people have wanted to help me get all 160 stickers.

Thanks everyone!

Catching Up

I've been lazy so here's a catch up on things I did these last few weeks.

we had a Halloween party where my owner dressed up as a wild boar!

We also baked a pumpkin pie.

And we had roasted chestnuts.

Here's picture of our Halloween table.

I got gingerbread cookies at work.
It was a gift to show us they appreciated all the hard work we do.

Jeffe sent us this really cool Day of Dead candy skull!

Yesterday we went to the movies with a colleague and saw The Last Witch Hunter.
It was a really cool movie!

Today at work there was a celebration and we got a bag full of oliebollen.

And when I got home there was mail waiting for us.
We won these cool bookmarks in a giveaway by Linda Poitevin. Her The Grigory Legacy series is a really awesome series, so we're very happy with these bookmarks.

That's it for now.
I will try to post more often again.

Suspicious Mail?

The cool thing about people sending birthday presents by mail, is that even a few weeks after my birthday I'm still experiencing birthday fun.

Today I received a present from Laura and Sparky.
Suspicion is 'a modern-day twist on the classic thriller, Rebecca'. My owner has read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier tons of times when she was a teen, and loved it. I'm very curious if we will love this book just as much.

Thanks, Laura & Sparky!

Flying Pig and a New Hat

My owner got a birthday present from her colleagues yesterday.

It's a new piggy friend!
His name is Bungee and he can fly.

And today I got a present from a colleague.
A new hat.

I think this hat makes me look very sophisticated and swanky!

Thanks everyone!

Books and Chocolate

Yesterday there was a package from Jeffe.
She got some books for us at a convention she visited, and she also sent some very yummy chocolate!

These looked really tasty, and one was broken, so I had to eat it right away of course. (It was indeed yummy!)

Thanks, Jeffe!
You are awesome.

Christmas Piggies

Laura and Sparky sent us another present!
Two Christmas piggies and a piggy card. The pig with the hat and scarf looks like he's a fun pig to hang out with. I will confess I have a bit of a crush on the other piggy.

Thanks, Laura and Sparky.
You are awesome!

A Fragrant Present

Today there was a package from Beanie!
There was a really cool stamp on it (that I'm going to put in my scrapbook) and the package smelled really nice.

Inside the package was a present wrapped up in beautiful paper. The scent was getting stronger: It smelled like lavender!

I opened the present and there was a purple knitted heart inside!
It has lavender inside and that's why the package smelled so nice.

What a lovely and fragrant present.
Thanks Beanie!
