Signed Books, Presents and More

Yesterday I got a visit from Aurian and her friend Maia. Aurian took some of our books with her to a convention in Berlin to get them signed. She brought them with her and she even had more goodies for us.


Voodoo Bride gave Aurian two books to sign and she got those back and Aurian had a third signed book for Voodoo Bride. Maya Banks has been on Voodoo Bride's wishlist for some time so she's very happy with this book.

There were lots of goodies from Vivian Arend and Wolfie.
We gave Aurian one book to get signed for us, but she returned with two and some cool extras.


Wolfie signed this book for us!

This signed book was a gift from Vivian to us.


And we got a dog tag, a key ring and a small container.


It contained a horse shoe charm and a pin with the Canadian Maple leaf!

We had a great afternoon talking about books and other things and in the evening we went into town, so Aurian and Maia could compare the Martini Tower with the Dom Tower. They thought the Dom Tower was more beautiful, but I think the Martini tower is the best!


After that we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant.

It was a really fun day and I hope to meet up with Aurian and Maia again soon.

Watching TV and Awesome Mail

I've been watching the Classics music channel this last week. There's often really cool 80's music. Anyone know what artist and song this is?

Today I had lots of cool mail!
I won Shanghai Steam in a giveaway over at Velvet's blog
Melliane send a book for Voodoo Bride and some cool bookmarks.
And we received some really cool Dog Tags from Vivian Arend.

We received some extra Dog Tags from Vivian as well, so we might have to do a giveaway at my review blog soon when Voodoo Bride reviews Vivian's newest Wolf Shifter book.

Cool Things in My Mail

There was an envelope in my mail today with a really beautiful bird stamp on it.

It turned out to be mail from Eve.
She send us a couple of cool postcards.

Mail!!

There was lots of mail for me today.
First there was a package which contained the book 'Wanderlust' by Ann Aguirre. I won it over at the blog of Vivian Arend and her wolfcompanion Wolfie. Vivian herself is the author of awesome wolf-stories.

Next there were two cards for me as well!
Both are from Hammie and G. One is for my birthday and the other for my blogoversary. They even send a card to my owner as well so we had three beautiful cards today! Isn't that cool?!

More Book Spam

Actually I keep winning books, but if I showed all of them here I'd really be spamming. But I've got high hopes for this one, so had to share it here. This one is about zombies! (And as far as I understand no one is falling in love with them luckily enough.) I will ofcourse review this book on my other blog once I've read it.
