Me, Easter Domo and a bunny

I couldn't help posing for a picture with one of Beanie's lovely mail-art cards as a background.

And now for something else:
Easter Domo made a new friend, a small, fluffy, purple bunny and he wanted to introduce his new friend to you all.

Easter Domo is very happy with his new friend and loves to pet and cuddle the bunny.

And remember:
If I suddenly disappear for a few days it means my owner and her OtherHalf have disconnected the computer, which may be any day now, but I hope they leave it till Sunday. When it does happen though: No Fear, I'll be back as soon as the computer is hooked up again in our temporary home.

Sinterklaas Avond

Friday night my owner and me baked Speculaas cookies for Sinterklaas which was on saturday.

My owner's OH had made a McPig cookie the last time we baked cookies, so this time he made an Easter Domo cookie!

Saturday: Sinterklaas Avond!!!

We started Sinterklaas Avond (St. Nicholas Eve) with what we call 'gourmetten'. You cook food at the table on a small burner and with a very small pan (well, small for humans anyway) and everyone has his own pan, so everyone can chose from the different ingredients that are on the table. My favourites are mushrooms, small pieces of potato, garlic and green beans.

After dinner there were presents! Sinterklaas had brought a big bag full of presents for me, my owner and her OH and some of their friends. I wonder how he knew those friends were visiting us, but my owner tells me Sinterklaas knows all as he has Zwarte Piet (Black Pete) listening at the chimneys to see if people have been bad or good and if they deserve presents at all.

I must have been good as there was a present for me, Coco, Angus, Domo and the other animals in the bag too.

Ok, let's see what Sinterklaas brought us.

A box full of small candycanes!
We're going to put those in the Christmas tree as soon as we bought it.

This is the mess left after unwrapping all the presents.

Here I am with the marsipan figures that were given to my owner's OH and one of our friends. Left is the horse Sinterklaas always rides on and on the right Sinterklaas himself.

I almost got attacked by one of the presents: these racing grannies.

And here I am with what I think is the best present we got: a 3D picture of me!!!

I absolutely loved celebrating Sinterklaas, it was a lot of fun and we got great presents!

Air Castles, Really Cool Expo and Noodles

We went shopping today, but we had difficulty getting to the shops as there was some kind of festival in the park with lots of children and air castles. We had to make a detour as we weren't allowed to go through the park.

On our way to the grocery store I spotted this sign.
An expo of the work of Geertje van der Zijpp!
My owner and I love her work so we had to take a look offcourse.

Me in front of her most beautiful piece!
As you can see on the picture below we have this as a card on the noticeboard next to the computer at home, but it's a totally different thing to see it this big I can tell you! Tomorrow is the last day of the expo, so I'm glad we had the chance to see it today.

There were also lots of cards for sale at the expo so I bought a card with a pig on it for my brother Angus, who loved it.

After the expo we did our shopping, including a new batch of cups of noodles as Domo had a taste for more of the cow noodles.

A new Hippo and Easter Domo

There's a new hippo in our house since today. My owner bought a hippo creation kit awhile ago and today she magicked it into this small hippo named Samuel.

Otherwise nothing much exciting happened, except for Easter Domo practising in looking scary. I keep telling him to lose the ears as they don't really inspire fear, but he likes them too much.

Eyeore, a Package and a Bodyguard!

First let me tell you why I didn't blog yesterday. It was because I was visiting Eyeore and was home really late. We did have fun and watched a movie.

Now on to the exciting new of today!
When we got home from work there was a package waiting for us:

The package was from Eve and as you can see there was tons of cool stuff in the package. I hope she will love the stuff me and my owner send to her just as much as we love the stuff she send to us.

One of the coolest things in the package was Easter Domo, the beastie you can see behind me and Voodoo Bride on this picture. He's going to be my bodyguard on occassion. I must say I think he's going to do a great job, he seems very capable of inspiring fear (allthough I got the feeling he's a big softy at heart).

So that leaves me with one thing to do:
Saying a big thank you to Eve:

Thank you Eve!
