Easter, a Book, and Dinosaurs

Last weekend it was Easter.
We visited family and painted eggs. I made a striped egg!


These are some of the other eggs.
I think the left one is some kind of zombie egg.


After the painting we had an Easter brunch with yummy food.
There were scones.


And bunny cheese.


We had a fun day and went home at the end of the afternoon.

The next day we decided we wanted to have another go at painting eggs.


My owner's OtherHalf painted a really cool Easter Bunny egg!

Yesterday I received a book from Beanie.
He already sent me the first book in this series, which I read last weekend, so I'm eager to read this one.

Easter Bunny and a Lunartik

I got a chocolate Easter bunny at work this Friday!
It's almost twice as big as I am.

And yesterday a friend brought a present for my owner:
A Lunartik in a teacup.
Isn't he cool!? He's purple so he's going to live in the bookcase in my owner's Milka room.

Chocolate Bunnies

There were whole armies of chocolate bunnies at work today. It turned out that everyone was getting a chocolate bunny as an Easter present.

Oh no! One of the bunnies had a nasty accident!

But after a quick fix the bunny was turned into a silver bunny ghost!

Attack of the Chocolate Bunny

Lately chocolate bunnies are popping up everywhere: in supermarkets, at work. I was beginning to suspect they're planning some kind of hostile take-over when yesterday evening.....

There was a chocolate bunny waiting for me at home!

Luckily my small army of Easter chicks was standing by to help me defend our home against the attack of the chocolate bunny.



But it turned out the chocolate bunny was quite innocent and friendly so we all had a nice chat.

(Me and the chicks were careful not to tell the chocolate bunny about my owner's plans for the bunny though.)

A Visit and Mail for Voodoo Bride

Yesterday we had dinner with some friends. I spotted this really beautiful lamp and decided to sit underneath it for a moment.

And look who joined me!
This bunny is a bit shy, but some of you might recognise him as the bunny I met at our 2009 Halloween Party! We had lots to talk about after such a long time and we had lots of fun.

Today there was another package.

It turned out to be a book that my owner won for Voodoo Bride. It's the second book in a series and Voodoo Bride loved the first book, so she's very happy with this book.

Me, Easter Domo and a bunny

I couldn't help posing for a picture with one of Beanie's lovely mail-art cards as a background.

And now for something else:
Easter Domo made a new friend, a small, fluffy, purple bunny and he wanted to introduce his new friend to you all.

Easter Domo is very happy with his new friend and loves to pet and cuddle the bunny.




And remember:
If I suddenly disappear for a few days it means my owner and her OtherHalf have disconnected the computer, which may be any day now, but I hope they leave it till Sunday. When it does happen though: No Fear, I'll be back as soon as the computer is hooked up again in our temporary home.
