Still busy with the re-install

I just wanted to let everybody know that my owner is very busy with trying to re-install windows on her computer, so that's why there haven't been posts the last couple of days.
We do hope to be back very soon!

Cake, Water and Sand - An update by Moira

Today another post by Moira.

Hello Sullivan and everybode else! I helped make an Angel Food cake with strawberries, blueberries and lemon whipped cream!! It was delicious!!

We also went on another fun outing:
Here I am at the lake and fishing with Princess!

Hanging out with Moxie in the shade on the boat.

Relaxing again in the shade - I think I am noticing a theme here...

I found this very cool tree on the beach - it had this weird branch sticking out that made a good place to have a rest and watch Princess play in the water.

The Lake - so pretty!

Moxie and I playing in the sand and looking for gold - or rocks, whichever we find first.

A short note at the end of this post:
It could be that there isn't going to be a post in a couple of days as Sullivan's owner is going to try a complete re-install of her computer. So if we're going MIA suddenly you know it isn't because we ran off or something, but because the re-install isn't going as we want it to.

6 month anniversary! (For real this time!)

Today it really is my 6 month blogging anniversary!!
So time for a little bit of celebrating and a small contest, but more on the contest later in this post.

This was my very first post on january 9th. I've enjoyed every post in the 6 months that I'm blogging and I've made new friends and had old friends join in in the fun of blogging. Last month I've already said thanks to some of them, so be sure to check june 9th for my too early anniversary post and thanks if you want to know who I thanked.

Today at work there was much temptation foodwise, like these delicious pancakes, but I wasn't allowed to eat one because:

This evening we celebrated my blog anniversary by getting a Happy Meal at a certain fast food restaurant. I got an Ice Age 3 cup with my meal and a dessert with a cool looking frog on it!

My owner also bought me an blog anniversary present: Fallout 3!
Can't wait for my 12 month anniversary ;-)

And now for a little contest.

I'm going to ask you a couple of questions about my previous posts. The person with the most right answers gets to pick a topic on which I have to try to make a post (with pictures ofcourse).
Please note that if you pick something like Egypt for example, I'm not going to travel to Egypt to get the pictures sadly enough , but will try to find another way to make the post.
If there's a tie I will randomly pick a winner. You can post your answers in the comments until next wednesday (july 15th).

On to the questions:

1: What is the name of the pig next to me in this picture?

2: This statue is of a character from a dutch series of books. What is the name of this character and what doesn't he like at all?

3: What is the name of the game I'm playing in this picture?

4: What is the name of the writer who's hugging me in this picture and what book did he sign for me?

Good luck everyone, thanks for following my life and travels and hope to celebrate more anniversaries with you in times to come!

Canada Day - an update by Moira

Here's another update on live in Canada by my cousin Moira:

Well, recently it was Canada Day here and so we went out for some fun! The local Museum here put on an event and here I am inside the museum at a "doll" size church! If I ever find the right pig I think I have found where I want to hold my wedding ;o)

A really really old Dr. Seuss book inside the museum

Here I am with Princess on our way to the next activitiy.

Resting from a long day and waiting for the fireworks to start.

So pretty!

The fireworks wore me out!! Or should I say the excitement did! That and a belly full of Cheetos will put me to sleep everytime!

Me with Marie and Princess on our way home after a full day of fun!

Party, Shopping and Picnic

It's been a busy couple of days for me. Friday night we went to a party. It was supposed to be a picnic, but it was rainy so we stayed indoors. The food was good I can tell you.

Yum... Brownie!

Yesterday we went into town to do some fun shopping. I saw this cool street art and took a picture of it to show Coco. He's been too busy to go hunting for cool street art himself lately, so I thought he might appreciate it if I showed him this.

I also saw this picture of a pig. I love the picture, but I don't love the fact that it's on a booth that sells pork.....

Yesterday it was lovely, dry weather again so yesterday evening my owner, her OH and me had a picnic. I sat in my owner's bag enjoying the sun and I played around with her glasses a bit. WE had a great time.

Hamsteren!

Today I met this jolly fellow and had a little talk with him.
Dutch followers of my blog will recognise this huge hamster and also the the title of this blog post. This huge hamster is the mascot of a large chain of supermarkets over here. Hamsters are also called hamsters in dutch. 'Hamsteren' is a word that means to hoard lots of food, like hamsters do too.

Food, Ice Age, Martinitoren and Stuff

I told you awhile ago that we got free movie tickets. Today we decided to use them and to make the evening even more special first we went to eat at the chinese wok-restaurant again. The food was delicious as always.

After dinner we went to the movie theater and saw Ice Age 3. My owner had to shut down her mobile phone so I only can show you a picture of the movie poster. I can tell you that the movie is great! Fans of Scrat will be happy to hear that he's in it again as you can see on the poster and he's funny as ever.

A picture of Groningen at dusk. Isn't it beautiful?
You can see the Martinitoren (Martini tower) again in the distance.

A picture of another movie that is coming soon: Shunshine Barry and the Disco Worms. Looks like it might be a fun movie.

A sign that says there are no intermissions and the ad for Coca Cola is suggesting you should get something to drink before going into the theater.

Ehmmm.....
