Easter Update

Last weekend my owner took me on an outing.
We took a train to Leeuwarden and then made a 10 minute walk through wet and chilly weather. Bad day to forget my hat! But it was worth the trip because:


We went to a Boekenfestijn!
I found all these books and because they were really cheap my owner bought them all for me.



Tomorrow it's Easter so we also got a chocolate bunny this week.

My owner got me a present.

Easter, a Book, and Dinosaurs

Last weekend it was Easter.
We visited family and painted eggs. I made a striped egg!


These are some of the other eggs.
I think the left one is some kind of zombie egg.


After the painting we had an Easter brunch with yummy food.
There were scones.


And bunny cheese.


We had a fun day and went home at the end of the afternoon.

The next day we decided we wanted to have another go at painting eggs.


My owner's OtherHalf painted a really cool Easter Bunny egg!

Yesterday I received a book from Beanie.
He already sent me the first book in this series, which I read last weekend, so I'm eager to read this one.

Easter Brunch

Yesterday we prepared a brunch to celebrate Easter.
First we cooked some eggs.

We also had Matzes with cheese.
Yum!

And I got to use my purple chicken egg holder!

Oh! So that's what the bunnies are for.
They can sit on the eggs to keep them warm.

I tried if the bunnies could also be used as a hat, but I think they're a bit too unpractical for that.

Yum.

A perfect Easter brunch.

Easter Bunny and a Lunartik

I got a chocolate Easter bunny at work this Friday!
It's almost twice as big as I am.

And yesterday a friend brought a present for my owner:
A Lunartik in a teacup.
Isn't he cool!? He's purple so he's going to live in the bookcase in my owner's Milka room.

Easter is Approaching

Today we got out the chickens and bunnies...


We decorated an Easter Branch...


And my loyal army of Easter Chicks are in place to defend the Easter Branch.
We're all set for Easter!

Piggy Easter Mail

There was mail today for me and my owner and it had piggy stickers on the envelope.

It turned out to be a lovely Easter card from Marlowe and his Mom.

Chocolate Bunnies

There were whole armies of chocolate bunnies at work today. It turned out that everyone was getting a chocolate bunny as an Easter present.

Oh no! One of the bunnies had a nasty accident!

But after a quick fix the bunny was turned into a silver bunny ghost!

Easter Branches

Today we went into town to buy a nice Easter branch. We first made a stop at a croissanterie though to get lunch. There were lots of different salads and stuff to chose from.

When we got home we got out our Easter decorations.

And then we decorated the Easter branches we bought! It looks fun and festive I think.

Too bad my owner doesn't want to buy it for me.....

Today it was Easter so we got to eat the chocolate bunnies!

We also got out our Easter branch again and decorated it with coloured eggs

and my army of Easter Chicks!

Yesterday there was a package from my owner's friend Jan and it contained an Easter present: chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs.

And today at work we got another chocolate bunny for Easter!
This one is bigger than me.
