A Fun Trip with Snow

There was snow yesterday! My owner and her OtherHalf had to go into town on some errands so I went with them ofcourse.

After we finished our errands we went to get something to eat. I saw these marsipan pigs in the store where we got our lunch.


In the restaurant of the store we got a table at the window so I could look out over the snow covered town.



And yet again Christmassy stuff that shouldn't be yet!

Oh! Sugar. I wonder what it's for.

Hmmm.... hot chocolate! so that's what the sugar was for.

I hope it keeps on snowing. I'm totally ready for it.

I could even walk through if I use this glove.

On our way home I just had to take this picture of the New Church.



The rest of the day I kept close to the window so I could look at the beautiful snow.

I'll have more pictures of what I did today for you tomorrow as I then will have my normal computer again to reshape and lighten my pictures.

Small update and lots of cool mail

We moved backed to our home this Tuesday. There were lots of boxes once again.

It was weird to see the temporary house get empty again.

When all our stuff was moved backed to our home we decided to treat ourselves before we had to more painting, redecorating and unpacking so we went out for dinner.

At the Ni Hao Wok restaurant ofcourse!!



On the day of our move there was a package for my owner from Gini Koch with a Housewarming present. Just look what was in it for me!

There was also a beautiful card from Beanie!

He send us an article about a helpfull Hippo.

And today there was a package from Velvet from vvB32 Reads.
There were lots of goodies and two books that I won at one of her lovely giveaways.

Might be MIA for a few days

The move back to our house is tomorrow and there's still lots to do both there and in the temporary house.

So I will probably be offline for a couple of days!

Update on the Bookcase

The bookcase is almost finished!
My owner's OtherHalf is painting like crazy to get it done in time for the move! Luckily he gets some help from a good friend.

Another Trip to the Hardware Store

I went with my owner and her OtherHalf today on another trip to the hardware store. Outside of the store I spotted this sign that tells you this is where you can park your bike.

After visiting the hardware store we went to Subways for hot chocolate and a double chocolate chip cookie!

And here I am with the all purpose vacuum cleaner that we bought to get rid of all the sawdust and other dust that had accumulated during the renovation. I love it's bright yellow colour!

Dreaming of....

My owner and her OtherHalf are very busy to get everything ready for our move back to our renovated house and there's not much time for anything else. So I'm dreaming of the time when all the moving stuff is behind us and there's time again for fun things, like picnics and such. (Although I'll have to wait till next summer for a picnic I think ;-) )

Penguin and Bear

On our gazillionth trip to the hardware store for wood and paint and such I saw they had build a Christmas display. Now I am of the opinion that there shouldn't be any Christmassy stuff anywhere before Sinterklaas (which is on the 5th of December) I have to admit this penguin and bear were really cool!

Beanie Mail and Bookcase

Yesterday there was beautiful, colourful mail for me from Beanie.

It had a hedgehog on the back!

And after some puzzling I managed to get the card out of the artfully folded envelope. You can't see it very well on this picture, but the dark square is in fact part of some kind of 3-D glasses if I'm not mistaken.

Bookcase Sneak Peek and a Cat

This morning I took a sneak peek at the building of the bookcase. It's looking good already! This is just a small part of the bookcase as the end result will be huge I'm told.

This afternoon I saw one of the neighbourhood cats taking a nap on the top of a car. Doesn't seem like a comfortable place to me, but the cat seemed to like it.

The painting is mostly done so I took a look at our house this evening and look what I found there: lots of wooden planks

My owner tells me this will all be build into a beautiful bookcase by her brother. I will keep an eye on it and keep you all posted.

There's still lots of painting going on, so for me things were a bit boring, but today there was a package!
