When we got back from work there were plastic bags hanging on every door in the street.We had one on our door too.
Inside was this pot with plant bulbs in it.It turned out to be a present from the organisation that we rent our house from. They gave it to everyone because of the start of the renovation in our neighbourhood. If we got it to celebrate the start of the renovation or if they wanted to console us because of the start of the renovation I do not know.

How nice of them!
A nice gesture, but I understand that your
owner is not glad about the renovation, while
you all have to move for several weeks...Brr.. Imagine Sullivan: you must take
all the furniture and more things with you
to an other location. And later on you must go back. It has the advantage that the house
will be renewed, but of course the rent will
b e higher.... But still very nice of them:
an easter surprise...
I get tired just thinking about it.
