I'm Still here and I'm Reading

I know I've been awfully quiet this week, but my owner had the flu so we stayed home all week. We've been reading and such, so nothing much to tell. But as of today my owner is up and about again, so I hope to be doing something besides reading soon.

Beanie Book Mail

Today I received a package from Beanie.
He send me a beautiful card and a Manga book he found.

I'm very happy with the book.
It's the first book in the Manga series Battle Royale. It's based on a novel with the same title. I haven't read the novel, but I have seen the movie Battle Royale which is also based on that novel and I love that movie.

It's about a class that is brought to a deserted island where they have to fight each other until only one of them is left alive. It's a very brutal story about human nature.

Blogoversary

Three years ago I wrote my first blogpost and started my blogging adventure.

So time to celebrate!

I want to thanks all my loyal readers for following me on my travels and adventures: Your comments and interest make blogging truly awesome!

I hope to share many more adventures with all of you in the years to come and to meet even more of you in real life.

More Awesome Mail

A nasty cold has us in its clutches at the moment, so nothing much happening over here. I did receive these awesome books in the mail yesterday though. They were send to me by the ever amazing Stella.

I won this book over at A Buckeye Girl Reads.
Carolyn Crane send it to me and even added some Trading Cards! I already have this book I will confess, because Carolyn's writing is too good to wait for until I just might win her book in a giveaway.

But.....

This is a signed copy!
I'm so happy with it. It will go on my shelf with my favorite books, right next to the signed copy of Mind Games (the first book in the awesome Disillusionists trilogy).

Now I just need to find a way to get a signed copy of Head Rush once that releases in print.

Awesome Mail

Today was an awesome mail day!
First we got a beautiful card from Beanie.

Then a package arrived from my owner's friend Marie.

Wow! What a lot of cool stuff!

She send us lots of yummy chocolate and other tasty looking things.

And new friends and some piggy stuff as well.

My owner fell in love with Fluffy and will give her a special place in the Milka Room.

Still Around

Today was the last day of my vacation.
It's been raining these last couple of days, but I've been making the most out of them by reading and playing games.
