How Long Has it Been? Let's Celebrate with Paper!

I've not been blogging a lot last year, I know.

I will confess that my review blog, games, and other things are reasons, but also because the trips and things I've been up to have been repeats of things I posted about before. Because I've been blogging for a long time.

How long, you ask?

10 years!

Yes, you read that correctly. Today it was 10 years ago I blogged for the very first time!


So no better way to celebrate than doing something fun with one of the animals I met through my blog: Hammie!


While Hammie and I caught up on things, C & G were making paper clay to sculpt with. First they mixed paper with water and made it into a pulpy mess.


Next the pulpy mess was put in dishcloths to get most of the water out.


Here you can see it after the water was pressed out of it.

Next they got out sticky stuff to add to the paper so Hammie and I fled the scene before we got sticky!

After a fun day catching up and celebrating with Hammie, we got to see what C & G created:


They made owls and cats!


These two grumpy owls and the cat were made by C.
She says that maybe a next time she will try to make a sculpture of me, now that she had some practice.


All in all a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of blogging, travelling, and making friends. Thanks for sharing it with me, Hammie.


And also a big THANK YOU to all the other animals, people, and other creatures I met on my travels and online. You are all amazing and make blogging fun!

Randomness on a Special Day

Nine years ago I started blogging.

The first few years I had lots to share, the last few years my post have become less frequent. Still I very much enjoy showing you my travels and other fun events when they occur.

Even though I didn't do anything picture worthy today I wanted to blog on this special day. So here are a few pictures I took for my Instagram account.

Seven Years of Blogging

I've been blogging for seven years!
Something to celebrate I think.

I've not been posting as loyally and often these last few years as I did in the beginning, but I still enjoy telling you about my life and travels. And I do post 5 times a week on my review blog usually, so blogging still keeps me pretty busy.

In 2016 I hope to post about many cool and fun things.

He sent the next book in the Darren Shan Saga, and a present for my birthday!

Party Time!

So why this crappy video of me dancing?

Because I've been blogging for four years today!!!

I know I've been a little less diligent about posting this last year, but I'm still enjoying blogging and telling you about my adventures when I have them.

2013 will bring at least two foreign trips if all goes well and I promise to let my owner work on her skills in making videos of me.


So time to get the Chocolate Minty drink and toast to many more years of travelling and blogging!

Blogoversary

Three years ago I wrote my first blogpost and started my blogging adventure.

So time to celebrate!

I want to thanks all my loyal readers for following me on my travels and adventures: Your comments and interest make blogging truly awesome!

I hope to share many more adventures with all of you in the years to come and to meet even more of you in real life.

Two Years!

Yup!
Hard too believe, but it's been two years since I started my blog. The above picture was the first picture I posted to introduce myself to the blogging community.

Since that first post lots of things happened:
I made lots of cool trips
Survived a big renovation of our neighbourhood
Met cool people and animals, both in real life and online
Started a second blog to review books and the ocassional movie
All in all I have been enjoying life, my blog and all the friendships I made through my blog(s).

So time to say thanks to all the lovely people and animals out there who dropped by, followed my life and travels and send me cool comments, mail and emails. I would still record my life and travels without you guys, but it wouldn't be half as much fun I can tell you, so:

THANKS!!

One Year Blogoversary!!!

Today it's one year ago that I made my first blogpost!
So time for a small celebration with chocolate and other yummie stuff was in order today.

So one year of blogging!
I really enjoyed myself with blogging and with my adventures this year.
So what are the highlights of this year?

The best thing about this year was meeting so many new friends of both the human and furry kind! Yes, I'm talking about you!!
Special thanks to the amazing friends who send me and my owner great cards and presents and stuff! You all know who you are!

Well.... there are too many to list them all I can tell you.
For my next year of blogging I hope my owner will be able to take me on a trip to another country, but I'll just have to wait and see.


On to something else!
