A Birthday, Titanic, Whales and more

Yesterday me and my owner had our birthday.
Lots of people send us birthday cards and wishes I want to say thanks to all of them!

I got some really cool DVD's for my birthday!
Two zombie movies, a thriller about Edgar Allan Poe and Rio.
I look forward to watching them all.

For our birthday my owner's OtherHalf took us to the Maritime Museum. There was an expo about the Titanic and Dutch people who where on the Titanic.

The man on the left side in this picture is Hendrik Bolhuis.
He was a cook on the Titanic and was from Groningen. He drowned when the Titanic sank.

We also looked at the other exhibits at the Maritime Museum. This is an old map of Groningen

I also spotted a drinking horn with an animal head on it.

There was a book with these really cool whale drawings.

And there were some weird drawings...
These drawings of whales were made by someone who never saw a real whale and tried to draw them after seeing a whale skeleton.

This statue had a crocodile hat with an extra crocodile on top!

After our visit to the museum we went out for dinner and I had a cocktail with a small umbrella.

It was a really fun day!

Jerry & Ben send me this coloring page of a pig that they colored for me.

And they included two more coloring pages so I can color the pig myself as well.

McPig 3D

This evening my owner took me to the cinema to see Titanic 3D, because I had to do some research for a post about Titanic movies on my review blog.

We got a plastic bag that had Real D 3D written on it.

It had 3D glasses inside!

My owner and me shared the glasses so we both got to see some parts of the movie in 3D.

I will blog about Titanic 3D and other Titanic movies on my review blog this weekend.

Reading up on the Titanic

Apart from playing Mass Effect 3 (a lot) I'm reading up on the Titanic. I'm planning 15 days of posts about the Titanic and such over on my review blog in April. The Titanic is a subject that's both fascinating and sad to study.

Mass Effect and Carpathia

Mass Effect 3 arrived yesterday!
So I think you can guess what I did for the rest of the day.

I also got this book in the mail.
It's a horror story set on the Carpthia, the ship that rescued the surviving passengers of the Titanic. I'm very curious about this book and hope to read it before April when I'll be having a special Titanic event on my review blog.
