My owner was in the mood for making a potato curry today so we visited the Amazing Oriental Warehouse. And although I'm pretty sure Barffi doesn't mean what it sounds like, I was glad my owner didn't buy this weirdly named stuff.

When we got home we made the first preparations for the curry and I helped with grinding up the cinnamon. Very hard work I can tell you!

This curry is going to be very hot, but you can also make curries that aren't hot, you'll just have to leave out the peppers
I LOVE curry, but I'm wimpy with eating hot foods. I hope your curry turns out delicious! :)
From the recipes I found it sounds like the barffi is a yummy dessert with a not so yummy sounding name.
@Demented Wench: Ah, hmmm.. Maybe I should give it a try sometime then.
