How to beat Zombie Chickens

After the recent Zombie Chicken Attack Voodoo Bride and me got talking about the best way to defend yourself against zombie chickens.

This is my defence against zombie chickens: a nice, sharp fork!

And the good thing about a fork is: if no zombie chickens turn up you can still use it on a cake or something.

Voodoo Bride thinks grass like this is the best defence against zombie chickens. Zombie or not, chickens like seeds and grass according to Voodoo Bride.

My owner met Marie online years ago on a forum and they have kept contact since. Marie is one of the kindest and sweetest people we've come across online. She also has my cousin Moira staying at her place and helps Moira to keep us updated on how Moira is doing.

Eve

Eve has been a loyal follower of my blog since, well, somewhere in the beginning. She is a fun and sweet person who has lots of the same interests as my owner and I and she also has a cousin of mine living at her place: Boo.

And if we're ever going to be enormously rich, we're buying a planeticket to come visit you, but don't expect us anytime soon sadly enough.

Now on to my day:

We went shopping for some stuff and on our way home we stopped to take this picture.

As we were taking the picture suddenly we heard a lot of noise behind us. It turned out to be these geese, who seemed to think we stopped to give them something to eat.

They were very annoyed when they discovered we didn't have anything for them.

Scary Cow, Sheep and a Birthday

Yesterday we went for a walk again and we passed a meadow with cows in it.

As I was posing for a picture one of them came closer.

Too close for comfort I think!
I ran for cover while my owner's OH kept taking pictures.

Luckily the sheep we saw after that weren't trying to get so close as that curious cow did.

Yesterday evening we went to a birthday party. There were these yummy 'roomsoesjes'.

(A roomsoesje is a very small pastry filled with whipped cream.)

Computergame and New Wave

I'm late in my update for today, I know, but here it is:

Last week the cd-rom for one of my favourite computergames, Fallout 2, got damaged and I couldn't play it anymore. Luckily my owner found a cd-rom online which besides Fallout 2 even had the original Fallout and something called Fallout tactics on it. She ordered it for me and Angus and it arrived today. We spend most of the afternoon playing Fallout 2.

This evening I went to a New Wave party with my owner. Here I am at the bar to order us some drinks.

They had really cool lights and cobwebs. and a DJ who took requests. I asked for a song with pigs in it, but she didn't have one, so I asked to play something with animals in it and she played "Eisbär" (Polarbear) from Grauzone for me.

Dentist

Today my owner had to go to the dentist for a check up. While there I decided to try out if I would be a good dentist.

Well.... As long as my patients are made out of cardboard I think I could handle it.

There were lots of toys in the waitingroom so I played with them while waiting.
Luckily my owner didn't have anyhing wrong with her teeth so we were done there very quickly.

A Walk and Birds

We kept a low profile yesterday in case the Zombie Chicken was still on the warpath, but today we went out for a walk and we played around a bit in a tree as you can see on these pictures.

We also found lots of mushrooms, but they weren't of the edible kind so we didn't pick any of them.

After our walk we visited a shopping mall where I saw this card with these two weird birds and couldn't resist posing with it.
