Bookish Mail

Today I received mail from Dana Cameron
She sent a signed copy of Pack of Strays and bookmarks. I absolutely loved Seven Kinds of Hell, the first book in the Fangborn series, so you can bet I'll be reading this pearl as soon as possible.

Puzzled Books and Other Art

Earlier this week my owner and I got a belated birthday present.

It was late because it took some time to make it:


The friends who gave us this beautiful picture to hang in my owner's workroom had puzzled it together! What a work that must have been.

A Lovely Sunday Walk

Fruit, Candy and a Book

Yesterday we got a present at work.
A pear, something to drink, candy, a puzzle and even a coupon for a grilled cheese sandwich. How cool!


When we got home there was a package waiting for us.
Melliane sent us a book and candy!


The Fruit Nougat looked very intriguing.


So I had to try it of course.
It was really yummy!

A Forest Walk - part 4

Today the last pictures of our trip to Boswachterij Gieten.
The lake you see in the pictures is an artificial lake. It's created because they're digging up sand to use for construction and such.
















Enjoying the last rays of the setting sun.


And then it was time to return home, but after our walk we were hungry so we stopped on our way home for:
