I got another beautiful card from Beanie.
He went to an expo about a woman named Jane Avril. I will have to find out more about her.

Today I visited the yearly comicbook fair.
I spotted this suitcase which was turned into a Jules Verne diorama. My owner tells me we'll be seeing this suitcase (and other suitcases) again later this year at an expo.

Another Fair

Yesterday evening we went to a fair together with a friend.
They had an all American CakeWalk! My owner doesn't like CakeWalks, so we didn't go in there, but cheered on our friend who does like CakeWalks.

We did go in this ride: The Thunderdome.

We also rode a small rollercoaster called Super Mouse, and a ride that was called Snow Crash or something with Snow in it anyway, but my owner forgot to take pictures of those. I had a great time!

A Meeting with Presents

Look who I met up with today!

Hammie was in Groningen together with G. and Har, so we met up with them for a chat and Hammie brought me presents. He's been to France and he brought some souvenirs back for me.

He brought really yummie cookies, lollipops, two really cool keyrings and a piggy! Wow, what a surprise to get so many cool souvenirs.

We had a fun time catching up on news and telling each other stories about the trips we made. Much too soon it was time to say goodbye again. But we made plans to meet up somewhere in the (near) future.

Electronic Pigs

We visited a store with lots of electronic devices today and they had piggy loudspeakers!!

There was a flower loudspeaker as well!

It would be cool to have a piggy loudspeaker, but my owner told me they were too expensive, so if I want one I'll have to save up for it myself..... Hmmm, better save my money for a trip however cool these piggies are.

Jam

Rosehips

Yesterday the weather was nice, so we went out to gather rosehips so we could make rosehips jam.

I saw a bug on one of the rosehips!
We didn't pick that rosehip: bug jam isn't very tasty.

All in all we managed to get 3 and a half kilo of rosehips that we could use for making jam. That's lots of jam I can tell you!
