Zoo Pictures - Part 2

In the Americasa building I spotted a turtle!
(Or tortoise, I always get them confused as we just call all of them schildpad.)

And we saw buffalos.

I also met another one of my cousins.

After a chat with my cousin we ran into a hungry looking goat, so I hid in my owner's bag as the goat looked like he might try to eat me.

I didn't trust this donkey either!

When we got something to eat I spotted this ladybug and we took a picture for Hammie and G.

Chocolate muffin!

Hmmm.... I don't think I've seen pinecones like this before.

When we got to the elephants they were all waiting at the gate as it was almost time for their dinner. I wonder if they eat muffins too.

And after a fun afternoon it was time to catch a bus back to Groningen.

I hope we'll visit the zoo again next year.
I always love going there.

Zoo Pictures - part 1

We went to the zoo yesterday!
First we took a bus to Emmen. At the station in Emmen there was a sign that told you how to get to the zoo.

But before going to the zoo we visited family of my owner's OtherHalf. They had this cool bird in their garden.

At the zoo we first visited the hippos.
Hmmm, that sign looks really dirty.

The hippos were enjoying the beautiful weather and were all taking naps in the sun.

Next I wanted to visit my relatives.
I had trouble finding them at first...

But there they were!
It's always good to see them and catch up on things.

Next we encountered a pelican who wanted some attention.

When he saw our camera he posed for a picture.

One of his friends was trying to catch something to eat.

While most of the other pelicans were just lazily swimming around.

Tomorrow I'll show you the rest of my pictures.

Saving

Nothing much special the last couple of days, so I decided to start saving for a fun trip. I hope I manage to save enough to go someplace outside of the Netherlands.

Mosaic and Trading Cards

They made a mosaic on the side of a tunnel we pass on our way to the city centre. I really like these two snails, but it's got all kinds of animals on it.

And I got cool mail today!
Carolyn Crane send me a set of trading cards featuring characters from her books Mind Games and Double Cross.
Aren't they cool! I especially love the trading card of Shelby, she's an amazing character!

Thanks Carolyn!!

Vrijmarkt

Here's a picture of me at the Vrijmarkt (free market (meaning you don't need a permit)) this Saturday. We spend all day selling stuff and enjoying the beautiful weather. We made lots of money which we immediately spend the same evening by going out to dinner with friends. I forgot to take pictures for most of the day, so this one and the picture I posted on Saturday are all I can show you.
