A New Bookcase

Yesterday we went to IKEA to get me a present for my birthday.
We had french fries at the restaurant. Yum!

And this is what I got:
A bookcase on wheels!

More room for my books.
We immediately began rearranging.

Doesn't it look awesome!?
Because of the wheels it can be easily moved to get to the books in the bookcase behind it.

After midnight we celebrated the start of my birthday.

Cider and Wine - Happy New Year

On one of the last days of the year we went on a shopping trip to IKEA.

I got to drink pear cider.

One of the things we bought was a new pan.
I got to try it out when we got home.

Glühwein!
Yum.

On New Year's Eve we watched movies, ate lots of yummy food, and greeted 2016 with fireworks and more wine.

Happy New Year, everyone!
May 2016 bring you lots of happiness and good things.

Mail and IKEA

Yesterday I received two books for review.
I read the first book in this series not long ago and really liked it, so the publisher was kind enough to send me these two as well.

Today I received a Valentine's Day card from Jerry & Ben.

Thanks, guys!

I also made a trip to the IKEA today.

We had french fries in the IKEA restaurant.

And fruit juice.

I spotted a pig riding an elk-shaped rocking horse.

And a gang of dragons.

This is one of the things we bought at IKEA.
A small glass house you can use to put plants in.

We had a fun afternoon.

Something New For The Milka Room

While we were at IKEA yesterday I got to pick a present and I chose a cool picture frame for the Milka Room.

It looks like a film roll isn't that cool?
I put in some of my favorite cards instead of photos though.
Can you spot the zombie?

A Trip To Ikea

This evening my owner and her OtherHalf took me on a shopping trip to IKEA

There was a big sign with a J on it near our car. My owner told me the sign was so we could easily find our car again.

We had arrived at IKEA around dinner time so we had something to drink...

And something to eat.
Yum!

Shopping trips to IKEA are fun!

IKEA

We needed storage boxes so today we went to the IKEA to buy some.

I spotted a goat heraldry thingie!

I really liked these baskets, but my owner said they were too weirdly shaped to easily store stuff in.

We also saw fabric with hippos on it.

Now this looks like a big and easy to store box.

My owner and her OtherHalf agreed so we took a couple of these boxes with us.

On our way to the cash register I saw a small stove and noticed something in the oven.

It was a rat!
I told him he'd better get out of the oven before somebody tried to bake or grill him.

All in all it was a fun outing.

Koop Zondag

Today it was Koop Zondag and so we went shopping for our house.
(Koop Zondag = Buy Sunday. Shops aren't open here on every Sunday, only on some special Sundays)

One of the things we needed to buy was a toilet seat.

There were lots of different toilet seats.

I saw one that would be perfect for Hammie and G.!!

Look: there's another ladybug on the seat itself!

We finally settled for a wooden toilet seat and then went on to the next store.

On our way to the next store we spotted this sign.
Baby Dump? Now that's not nice!

But we didn't have any babies to dump, so we went to the carpet store to look for a new carpet.

I thought this one was nice and warm, but I was over ruled as my owner and her OtherHalf thought it was too light in colour.

Finally we ended up in the IKEA where I met a relative and a..... Well, I think it was a sheep, but I was too afraid I'd get clobbered if I asked.

Balloons, Renovation and IKEA

When I went outside this morning the neighbours had balloons on their door! What a fun way to let people know they had a birthday today.

A picture of the renovation in our street. There are no gates and scaffolding around our house yet, but there will be soon.

We went to our house to do some last chores before leaving it to the construction workers.
Bye, bye house. See you after the renovation.

This afternoon we went to the IKEA store as my owner and her OtherHalf needed to replace some things.

there was lots to do at the IKEA store.
I talked to some animals living there.

I played with this really cool wooden crane.

I spotted this great traffic sign sticker on the floor.

I did some climbing on this counting rack thingie.

And found these cool plush vegetables!

And even a plush knife and cake!

Having a chat with a box full of plushies.

All in all the IKEA store was lots of fun and I hope we'll go there again some time.
