Books and the May Fair

We got a package yesterday filled with books.
It was from Jeffe, who sent us signed books she got for us at RT, some of her own books, and some extra books she thought we might like. There was also a French version of Under His Touch, which I'm sure Melliane will want to get her hands on.

The signed copy of Strike by Delilah S. Dawson had a small drawing of a dog in it, and Delilah said hi to me! How cool.

Today my owner had to visit the dentist and I came along.
We got toothpaste and mouthwash that my owner can try.

It was lovely weather so we took a walk through town after visiting the dentist, enjoying the sights.

I spotted a pigeon mural!

And when we came to the city center I saw that the May Fair was in town.

We walked around the fair for a bit, looking at all the attractions.

We decided to pay a visit to a friend and managed to get her to go to the fair with us. We played a ball game at the fair, took a ride on the roller coaster, and had lots of fun.

I even got to go on one of the other attractions.

It was a sort of carousel and it turned around really fast. Very cool!

After a fun afternoon we went home again.
Here's the prize I won at the ball game we played.

Alligator Mail

Yesterday there was mail for me and my owner.
There was an alligator on the envelope!

It turned out to be really cool swag from Delilah S. Dawson. We have pre-ordered her upcoming Young Adult book Servants of the Storm, so she sent us this swag to thank us.

There was also a dried clover in the envelope for luck, but the mailmen must have mistreated the envelope, because the clover was in pieces.

Isn't this bookplate awesome!
It has an alligator on it as well.

I can't wait for my copy of Servants of the Storm to arrive, so I can put my cool bookplate in it, and then use the bookmark when I read the book :-D

Thanks Delilah!

More Royalty, a Book and Bludbunnies

Even though the abdication was two days ago even more royal Wuppies showed up today. We now house six of them! It seems the Wuppies who missed the abdication this Tuesday hope to get a glipse of our new king and queen when they visit Groningen later this month.

Today we received lots of cool mail:

There was a signed copy of Allegiance Sworn by Kylie Griffin and bookmarks for Voodoo Bride. I won the book for her over at The Qwillery. Voodoo Bride had this book on her wishlist, so she's very happy with it.

Thanks Kylie and Qwill!

I received very cool mail from Delilah S. Dawson.
I joined the Bludbunny Brigade which is made up out of people who love Delilah's books and want to help her to introduce the books to other people. As a welcome present Delilah send a magnet with a Bludbunny drawing on it and some cool bookplates. (a Bludbunny is a sort of vampirebunny. They're in Delilah's book Wicked As They Come, which is a really cool Steampunk/Paranormal Romance. Wicked As She Wants, Delilah's second full novel set in Sang, the world where the Bludbunnies live, released this Tuesday. We're impatiently waiting for our copy to be delivered.)

My bookplate had a Bludpig on it!
Isn't that cool?!

Here I am with my Bludbunny Brigade sash, ready to spread the word about Bludbunnies.

Thanks Delilah!
