Gilbert - A Fun Trip part 4: Deventer (3)

At the end of Scary/Narrow Street there was another church.
If I remember correctly it was the Broederenkerk.

Let's have a closer look.

Inside there was a gate so we couldn't tour the whole church.
We could only visit the portal.

We did peek through the gate of course.

There were altars and statues for a couple of saints.
I forgot who this guy is.

A Maria altar.

Another peek the gate.

The other saints had lighted candles, but Joseph didn't, so we lighted two candles.

We then walked back to the town square.

After a last look around we decided to go back to the car.

On our way back I spotted this painting.

Oh, a Charles Dickens museum.
It was closed though.

But wait...

I spotted someone climbing down a rope made of blankets.

It turned out to be part of the museum.

It seems she's called Johanna.
Not sure why she was climbing down the building.

Random cool art in a window.

Cool art on a garage door.

Pretty house.

And then it was time to drive back to Diana's house.

My souvenir from Deventer:
A McPig sized suitcase filled with Deventer Kruidkoek
(a sort of cake with ginger in it)

Next:
Well.... I'm going on another trip, so we will see what I post next.
