A Book and a Piggy Lamp

Yesterday I found First Grave on the Right in my mail.
It's a gift from Melliane and I'm looking forward to reading it.

Thanks Melliane!

Today we went shopping and I spotted this really cool lamp!
It's a reproduction of the lamp in the movie 'Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain', which is one of my favorite movies. Isn't it awesome?!

That is a cool lamp! It would be even better with Sullivan as the statue!!! We like Amélie too.

Thanks everyone! I'm liking the book so far (I'm on chapter 9) and I really want that lamp, but haven't convinced my owner so far it's a necessity of life ;-)

That's a great lamp!! And it is becoming darker with winter coming so I would say lamps are most definitely necessities of life! How will you read your books in the dark?? (heh-heh!)
