Mushroom and Violets

As I was told today was the last dry day of the week we went for a walk after work and I spotted this mushroom. It made a nice seat.

When we got home I saw these violets growing in the alley behind our house. I wonder if they're supposed to grow there or if they escaped from the garden behind the fence where they were standing next to.

Lovely pictures! Looks like a beautiful day for a walk, a bit of leisure time on a mushroom, and taking time to smell violets. :)

We have wild voilets around here-- Granted, they usually grow in a lot more wooded areas.

Mom likes taking pictures of mushrooms too!

That's a pretty big mushroom! Looks like a wonderful seat though :)
The flowers are really lovely! Most of our flowers are done for the year.

I think it is better to only blame the weather and just be friends. :)
