Clouds, Mushrooms and Mummies

After work we went for a walk. It was sunny, but there were also lots of clouds.

I found lots of mushrooms, but none were of the edible kind:

When I got home there was a card for me and Coco from Beanie. He'd been to the British museum and saw the mummies they have on display there. I must confess I would love to go there and see the mummies myself too some day. Thanks for the cool card Beanie!

I like your mushroom pictures. My mom likes hunting for different kinds of mushrooms and taking pictures of them.

Nice mushrooms! We've had such a wet spring and summer that there are mushrooms growing on my lawn!

Hi Sullivan! :)

What great pictures! These mushrooms weren't the only ones that showed up in my blog feed today (Kaley Meadowhare posted some great ones in her Craggy Moor blog), so now my interest in fungi has peaked considerably. I'd like to be able to determine which kinds are and aren't edible, myself. :)
