Presents and a Walk

Friday we had family coming over for dinner and they brought presents.
I got a chocolate bunny.

My owner got a shirt with iguanas on it.
It's a magical shirt I'm told: when the sun shines the iguanas turn green. We will have to test that this summer of course.

It was a fun evening.

On Sunday I got a visit from my friend Witje.

We went for a walk to Garnwerd.

It was sunny at first, but after a while it became clouded and windy.

So when we got to Garnwerd we ordered hot chocolate to get warm again.
Witje treated us to a really yummy dinner as well.

Here Witje is trying my fish eye lens.

We had a great time.

A Small Garden

Today we got a present at the grocery store.
A small box that says there's a small vegetable garden inside.

And it was true!
There was a small pot, a tablet that can be turned into soil, and radish seeds.

There was a long list of instructions how to plant the seeds, and how to care for them. I will have to ask my owner to help me with it one of these days, because it would be cool to grow my own radishes.

A Surprise Novella in My Mail

Yesterday there was unexpected mail.
Michelle K. Pickett sent me Finding Willow, the prequel novella to Unspeakable. I love Michelle's Post Apocalyptic book PODs, and also read Unspeakable, which is Contemporary and a lot harder to to read, because it deals with some serious and depressing issues. Still it's a really good read, so I'm very happy with this prequel novella.

Thanks, Michelle!

Mail and IKEA

Yesterday I received two books for review.
I read the first book in this series not long ago and really liked it, so the publisher was kind enough to send me these two as well.

Today I received a Valentine's Day card from Jerry & Ben.

Thanks, guys!

I also made a trip to the IKEA today.

We had french fries in the IKEA restaurant.

And fruit juice.

I spotted a pig riding an elk-shaped rocking horse.

And a gang of dragons.

This is one of the things we bought at IKEA.
A small glass house you can use to put plants in.

We had a fun afternoon.

Suspicious Mail?

The cool thing about people sending birthday presents by mail, is that even a few weeks after my birthday I'm still experiencing birthday fun.

Today I received a present from Laura and Sparky.
Suspicion is 'a modern-day twist on the classic thriller, Rebecca'. My owner has read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier tons of times when she was a teen, and loved it. I'm very curious if we will love this book just as much.

Thanks, Laura & Sparky!

Camera Fun!

I got some lenses from my owner's OtherHalf that can be used on the camera of my owner's cellphone.

I had to try them out of course

One of the lenses is a Fish Eye lens.

I'm going to have fun with this one!

Next I tried the Macro lens.

This picture is made without the macro lens.

And this one with the macro lens.
It works amazingly well!

There is also a small Telephoto lens

This picture is taken without telephoto lens

This one is taken from the same distance with the telephoto lens.

There's a fourth lens, which is a Wide Screen lens, that I still have to try, but I want to try that one outside.

I think these lenses are awesome.
I'm sure going to make lots of fun pictures with them!
