Beanie Book Mail

I had a huge book in my mail today!
Beanie sent me Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer. I already got New Moon and Eclipse from Beanie. I read New Moon and that was a very entertaining read. I really should read Eclipse and Breaking Dawn soon.

Thanks Beanie!

Yummy Food

Yesterday we went out with friends for a very, very belated birthday dinner. But it might have been a few months late: the food was great! I ate lots of yummy chocolaty things and ice cream.

New Friends and Books

Earlier this week we received a surprise package from Marie, her family and my cousin Moira. They sent us lots of new friends, buttons, a cool hippo stapler, and yummy Maple sugar mints. We are very happy with this awesome surprise, and the new animals will all get a great new home here, I can assure you.

Thanks Marie!

Today there was a flea market in honor of King's Day (King's Day is to celebrate our King's birthday). We had a look at what was for sale and found 5 books. Three of them are for Voodoo Bride, but I found City of Bones and City of Ashes. I was lucky, because there was a girl who saw the books just before I saw them. Luckily she only wanted City of Bones, but the seller didn't want to sell the books separately. I don't know if I will like these books, but the two of them were cheap enough I decided to take the chance. Voodoo Bride is very happy with her books as well.

NIL Swag in my Mail

I had mail from Lynne Matson.
She sent me a poster, a bookmark, and a button.
I just love the poster. it's the cover of Lynne's book NIL, which I read, and which is a really awesome Young Adult book.

Thanks Lynne!

Bookish Mail

Today I received mail from Dana Cameron
She sent a signed copy of Pack of Strays and bookmarks. I absolutely loved Seven Kinds of Hell, the first book in the Fangborn series, so you can bet I'll be reading this pearl as soon as possible.

Thanks Dana!

Puzzled Books and Other Art

Earlier this week my owner and I got a belated birthday present.

It was late because it took some time to make it:

The friends who gave us this beautiful picture to hang in my owner's workroom had puzzled it together! What a work that must have been.

And look at the title of this book.
How awesome!

Thanks K&E.

And we got another present to hang on the wall of the workroom as well:

My owner's OtherHalf made this beautiful portrait and when my owner told him we loved it, he gave it to us!

Thanks E.

Now we have lots of cool and beautiful art to look at.
