My Trip to Normandy - Day 8, part 1 - Mont Saint-Michel

On June 7 we went for a trip to Mont Saint-Michel.

Mont Saint-Michel is a small rocky island on the coast. There's a large monastery on the island. We had to take a bus to get close to the island and then walked the rest of the way.

I spotted a seagull along the way.

Doesn't it look beautiful?

When we reached the island we decided to walk around it first to have a good look at it.

It was low tide, so we could easily walk around the island, but when it's high tide the island is surrounded by water.

I went there, it's beautiful but it's nt the most interesting thing... Don't think I'll go again.

Mont Saint-Michel is on my bucket list! Were you allowed to go inside? =)

We were allowed in the small town, but you had to pay if you wanted to visit the monastery.

It looks so beautiful, and so old.
