Prague - More Churches


On one of the higher hills in Prague there's the so called Prague Castle and here you can find this magnificent building:

the St. Vitus Cathedral.
They took a really long time to finish building this cathedral. They started building in 1344 and only finished in 1929!

It has lots of Gargoyles.





The inside is just as beautiful as the outside.

There are statues.

And beautiful coloured windows.





On to yet another church:

This is the St.-Petrus and Paulus church in Vysehrad.

This church has been build on through the ages quite a lot as well.



All these Gothic looking decorations were added in the 1800's.





No matter when they build it, I think it's an impressive church.

Tomorrow I'll show you more pictures of Vysehrad and the graveyard at Vysehrad.
