Koop Zondag

Today it was Koop Zondag and so we went shopping for our house.
(Koop Zondag = Buy Sunday. Shops aren't open here on every Sunday, only on some special Sundays)

One of the things we needed to buy was a toilet seat.

There were lots of different toilet seats.

I saw one that would be perfect for Hammie and G.!!

Look: there's another ladybug on the seat itself!

We finally settled for a wooden toilet seat and then went on to the next store.

On our way to the next store we spotted this sign.
Baby Dump? Now that's not nice!

But we didn't have any babies to dump, so we went to the carpet store to look for a new carpet.

I thought this one was nice and warm, but I was over ruled as my owner and her OtherHalf thought it was too light in colour.

Finally we ended up in the IKEA where I met a relative and a..... Well, I think it was a sheep, but I was too afraid I'd get clobbered if I asked.

Those are some cool toilet seats! We only have the boring plain sorts at home. =(

I agree with your owner and her other half that the carpet is too pale. You don't want to blend into it. You want to pop and still complement it! ;-)

And I think your relative's fuzzy friend just might be a poodle! But given the "generic" species of animals in the bin with them, perhaps you were right to think him a sheep!

Eh... Well, don't know if G.'s okay with me telling this here... eh... you are right that that toilet seat would be perfect for us.... We have it in our downstairs toilet :-)!!!! Our house is a very old house and the tiles of the downstairs toilet where some kind of green. G. wanted to change them but (as you and your owner know now you are redecorating your home) everything is very expensive, specially if you have to hire someone to do the re tiling thing. So she decided to make it a special ladybug toilet, glueing wooden ladybugs on the leaves that are on some of the tiles and decorating everything with ladybug things, so that toilet seat fitted in very nice ;-). This way the toilet is okay and funny but it didn't cost a lot of money!

I like the toilet seat covers and the carpets looked very fuzzy! :)

I would have gotten the lady bug seat cover!

Very cute, wish we had places like that out here!

@Hammie: Ah! See, I'm really beginning to know G's taste ;-)
@Enbrethiliel & Katie: these were just a few examples of tons of weird toilet seats

I don't know if I would think that the weird toilet seats would be cool after a few months. I think you made a good decision with a plain one!
