Cross Stitch Mail

Today there was a package for my owner. She was expecting a magazine send by her friend Jan, but this package was much heavier than just a magazine.

It turned out Jan also send a Cross Stitch Book! She knew my owner was looking for this book and she found it for my owner at a great bargain. Thanks Jan!

There aren't any pigs in it, but I did spot this cool mouse!

Oh, wow! That's wonderful! =D Isn't it lovely when friends send you thoughtful surprises they know you'll love?

My grandmother used to cross-stitch and made some beautiful things. I did a bit of it for a school project when I was younger, but I didn't have her skill with the needle. It seems so simple, doesn't it? Just make Xs, follow the pattern, etc. But I kept producing travesty after travesty! I'm sure your owner is ten times more talented than I am, Sully!

I love the cat with the mouse, they are really cute! Good that C.'s friend knew your new address so this nice package didn't get lost! Please show us everything C. makes from the ideas of the book! We would really like to see what she makes.

Yes, most definitely show us your projects!! I'm sure you'll help her! Mom likes to cross stitch, but doesn't always have the patience!

My owner has lots of her cross stitching posted here:

She hasn't updated in awhile, so the newest things aren't there.

Oooh, that's a neat looking book. I don't do cross stitch, but with a book like that I would definitely think about it. Can't wait to see what your owner makes out of it! Very cool!
