Beanie Mail
Today there was Beanie Mail for me! I always love getting Beanie Mail.
Inside the very craftily folded envelope there was this beautiful card.
And two trading cards that Beanie got and thought I might like. Beanie is right! They are really cool!
Here's a close-up of one of them. Look: it's a pig!
Thanks Beanie and Andrea!

A Trip to Winsum
Yesterday we were invited to Winsum to have dinner at the Gouden Karper (Golden Carp). Winsum is a lovely place so we did some sightseeing too.
I spotted a windmill hiding behind some buildings.
And don't you just love this beautiful building?
Inside the Gouden Karper.
There were lots of cool things to see in the restaurant, like this lamp.
And these pigs!
I must confess I was less pleased that they were on a sign that lists the menu.
My owner ordered a huge bowl of ice cream for dessert.
With strawberries. Yum!
A view on/out the window of the Gouden Karper.
We got nougat when we left the restaurant!
We did some more sightseeing on the way to the car and I saw this weird statue.
Another beautiful building
And even another windmill!
What a lovely and unexpected trip!

Asian Candy or Cakes
Our downstairs neighbours invited us to a birthday party so we bought them a small gift at the Amazing Oriental Warehouse:
Asian candy or maybe it's cake, but I think it looks delicious. The party was fun and there was lots to eat, but we forgot to take pictures.
ps: Check out my other blog as I did an interview with Carolyn Crane, author of Mind Games.

Cross Stitch Mail
Today there was a package for my owner. She was expecting a magazine send by her friend Jan, but this package was much heavier than just a magazine.
It turned out Jan also send a Cross Stitch Book! She knew my owner was looking for this book and she found it for my owner at a great bargain. Thanks Jan!
There aren't any pigs in it, but I did spot this cool mouse!

Balloons, Renovation and IKEA
When I went outside this morning the neighbours had balloons on their door! What a fun way to let people know they had a birthday today.
A picture of the renovation in our street. There are no gates and scaffolding around our house yet, but there will be soon.
We went to our house to do some last chores before leaving it to the construction workers.
Bye, bye house. See you after the renovation.
This afternoon we went to the IKEA store as my owner and her OtherHalf needed to replace some things.
there was lots to do at the IKEA store.
I talked to some animals living there.
I played with this really cool wooden crane.
I spotted this great traffic sign sticker on the floor.
I did some climbing on this counting rack thingie.
And found these cool plush vegetables!
And even a plush knife and cake!
Having a chat with a box full of plushies.
All in all the IKEA store was lots of fun and I hope we'll go there again some time.
