A Walk to Garnwerd

The beautiful weather continued today so we walked to Garnwerd.

I took another rest among the Lady's Smock.

A view on Garnwerd from across the water.

I counted how far we had walked and it was over 5 kilometers to Garnwerd!

So I had deserved a short nap.

And because of the weather I was very thirsty so I got a big glass of ice tea.

We also got something to eat: bread with cheese, omelette and onions!

Yum!
Just what I needed to sustain me on the long walk back home.

Sullivan,
Your one of the Rat Forum winners, but the gifts are little toys mice. Would you like something else? Also, do you have a favorite doggie friend that might like a toy instead. As you made love and fluff, perhaps would you like a post card from us, well let me know.

Nice post! We didn't have time to go out for a walk yesterday but we had the windows of G.'s work room wide open so we had a lot of fresh air! G. always counts her steps too if she goes for a walk. She always wants to know how many kilometers she walked. The longest walk in one day was 21 kilometers! I was with her and Wandelinge then but I didn't have my blog yet, so I haven't made a post about it. I'm looking forward for the day that Harr and G. are going to do the next part of the Pieterpad. Then I can look around a bit where you make your walks!
Congratulations on being a winner!

There is something so very cute here and at the same times something so very disturbing. Or perhaps, it's me.

@Steward: It was omelette! If it had been bacon then it would have been disturbing!
