A Hand and Surprises

When we were on our way home today I spotted a large hand on a lanternpole.

It said I had to pick it up and wave for peace so I did just that.

When we got home there were two small bags with presents in them standing on the table.

They turned out to be for my owner as she and her OtherHalf had something to celebrate today, but I checked the bags anyway.

There was a fish in one of them!
As it was mostly purple the fish got a spot in my owner's purple workroom.

And look what had suddenly appeared in the workroom as well:
A noticeboard for cards and other fun stuff!

And as we were taking pictures anyway:
A picture of Olivia guarding our favourite books.

Market Day

Today we visited the market.
I love the market as there's so much to see.

There's all kinds of yummie things like cheese...

Pumpkins...
(I know where we'll be getting our pumpkins for Halloween.)

Nuts of all kinds...

and Mushrooms.
Just to name a view of all the delicious things they have on the market.

There's also creepy things to see on the market like these crabs...

All kinds of fish...

And even Cthulhu Spawn!!
I hope Cthulhu never finds out or he might visit the market and that's not going to be pleasant.

All in all the market is a fun place to visit.

A Trip to the Zoo (part 3)

We spend lots of time at the aquariums looking at all the beautiful and weird fish.

And the occasional lobster.

This one looked very fierce!

There also were aquariums with beautiful corals and such.

After all the fish we saw some animals that like to eat fish (among others): African slender-snouted crocodiles.

At the Petting Zoo I saw these ferocious chicks!

Guinea Pigs

And more relatives!

As you can see these were not as distant as the other relative I saw and I had a little chat with one of them.

After talking with my relative we saw flamingos.

And a turtle (or tortoise, I keep mixing them up.)

We saw lots more animals, but I don't have pictures of them all. I did see an Art Elephant with pigs painted on him though!

And to end my three day long rambling about the Zoo I leave you with some pictures of one of my owner's favourite animals:

A Trip to the Zoo (part 2)

After seeing my relative we went on to these weird birds: Marabou Storks. They looked like a bunch of grumpy old men I think.

Another one of the Art Elephants! This one was painted to look like a rhino!

I also saw pelicans.

I got to explore a jungle!

We took a break from watching the animals and bought ice cream. I got to taste two kinds of ice cream!

After the ice cream break I explored this field of flowers. I think they're Black-Eyed-Susans.

We also saw some expo's and one was about dinosaurs!

And look: some kind of Iguana!
Wow, they have a lot of different animals at the Zoo.

I loved the aquariums, there were lots of cool fish swimming in them.

Very beautiful.

And that's not even all! Tune in again tomorrow for the third and final part of my trip to the Zoo, with even more fish and relatives!
