Snow and a Card

Last Saturday evening I looked out the window and there was snow!


The next day there was even more. It looked beautiful.


My owner was still recovering from a very stubborn flu, so she didn't have the energy to go for a walk with me, so I had to settle for watching the snow from our living room window.

When we finally did go outside again this Tuesday, most of the snow was gone already.


Today there was a late birthday card for me from Jerry & Ben!
I recognize the mouse: it's the mouse from Country Companions. What a fun and beautiful card.

Music and Books

Today there were two packages in the mail.


The first was a CD from Beastmilk.
It was a birthday present for me and my owner from my owner's family. It's a really cool CD I think.

The other package was from Jeffe.
There were a couple of presents inside.


The package took a long time to get from the US to Groningen and the mailmen must have shook up the package, because the cookies in the package were smashed a bit. The presents were beautifully wrapped. I couldn't wait to open them.


Books!
There was a cook book with Dutch recipes for my owner, a cool Manga for me, and sampler and a copy of Season of Seduction for Voodoo Bride.


And Jeffe signed Season of Seduction for Voodoo Bride as well!
Voodoo Bride already read Jeffe's story, but I just know she will reread it soon and she will try the other stories as well of course.

We love our presents!

A Fun Filled Day

This morning there was another birthday present from Melliane for us in the mail.

And around noon Aurian and Maia arrived in Groningen! They came to visit me and my owner to celebrate our birthday.


We got a beautiful birthday card.


And lots of cool books!

We went into town and browsed the bookstores together.


And then we sat down for hot chocolate.


And brownies!


We also had other things to drink, and we had lots of fun talking about books and such.


At the end of the afternoon we went to our favorite restaurant, Ni Hao, for a birthday dinner. My owner and me got to try out one of the love seats at the restaurant.


And we ate lots of yummy food of course!

It was a really fun day!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I know: I've not been posting for a long time again.
But I've been feeling a little bit under the weather and stayed indoors mostly.


My owner did knit a hat for official occasions for me. Isn't it cool?!


And today it was my birthday!
(And also the birthday of my owner)


I got a new multi-colored festive hat when my owner and I went shopping this morning. And there were birthday garlands for us when we got home!


This one wasn't knitted by my owner, but I think I will have to get her to try to knit a multi-colored hat as well.


I already received a present from Melliane last week.
This might look like a book for Voodoo Bride, but the cover is deceptive. This is a really fun and cool read!

A Fragrant Present

Today there was a package from Beanie!
There was a really cool stamp on it (that I'm going to put in my scrapbook) and the package smelled really nice.


Inside the package was a present wrapped up in beautiful paper. The scent was getting stronger: It smelled like lavender!


I opened the present and there was a purple knitted heart inside!
It has lavender inside and that's why the package smelled so nice.

What a lovely and fragrant present.
