Voting, a Package and More

Today there were elections for a new governement and I got to come with my owner when she went to vote.

So many people to vote for!
Luckily my owner knows enough about politics to tell me who we should vote for so I helped her check the right politician on the voting bill.

And then we put the voting bill in the voting box. Very exciting! I wonder if the politician we voted for will get lots of other votes too.

And this afternoon there was another package for me from Beanie!

In the package there was a letter and a passport and a travelling mail art kit! How cool is that!

This is the mail art kit: it contains everything I need to make my own mail art. I only have to add stamps and stuff to put on the cards.

My owner's OtherHalf helped me write a latin phrase on the front of my passport and drew a coat of arms for me. Now I only have to add a picture and my name and stuff on the inside of the passport.

Thanks Beanie. You really spoil me, this is a great gift!

I also got a gift from my owner today: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the comic!

I'm very glad with it, it's very beautifully drawn.

And just like Hammie I got to rescue a Beesie (Beastie) from a store today! He was cooped up with lots of other Beesies in a round jar like thing and was very glad he got to come home with me.

All in all I had a busy day!

Just made my post about voting too ;-)! Did you see that there's a special political party for animals??? I think they made that one because you and I voted last time! I'm happy you saved a Beesie too. They are not very well homed at the store, I'm glad that one of them can stay at your home! Today I could use G.'s I.D. but I think I will have to make a passport too, if we keep going to Brittany and Belgium! Please show me yours if it's finished so I can see how it's done?

Your own passport, that is wonderful. I like the comic too but I'm concerned about the Beesie. The way he is wrapped around you, are you sure that's being affectionate or is he sizing you up for a meal?

YAY!! Glad it got there - and I love your coat of trotters too!!! Andrea forgot to mention that you can put the passport Country of Origin underneath that too, if you want. (Mine says "United Squeaks of Rodentia") What does your Motto mean in English?!

@Demented Wench: Nah, Beesies aren't agressive, they're very gentle and shy creatures.

@Beanie: It (roughly) translates to 'working together doesn't stink/smell'
