Awesome Bookish Mail

We received an awesome package from Jeffe yesterday.
She sent us lots of signed books, bookish swag and very yummy chocolate!
You rock, Jeffe!

And there were signed copies of The Talon of the Hawk and The Pages of the Mind, as well as lots of beautiful bookmarks and cover flats for Jeffe's upcoming book The Edge of the Blade.
I already have both these books, and there's more bookmarks than I'll ever need, so what to do with these? I think you should keep an eye out for a giveaway on my review blog.

What I've been Doing and Delicious Food!

Since my last post I've been playing a lot of Dragon Age Inquisition with Schmooples.

On Wednesday I went to the movies to see The BFG.

And I received yummy chocolate and a fun card from Miki.
Thanks Miki!

Yesterday we went to Utrecht to visit Aurian and Freya and we went out for dinner!

It was at a restaurant where the cook makes your dinner while you watch. How fun!

There was lots and lots of very yummy food, like vegetarian sushi.

mushroom, sweet potato and courgette.

A yummy salad.

I think this dish is called Chow Mein in English.
All in all it was a fun day and I ate way too much delicious food!

A New Friend

Thursday we had a surprise visitor.
Schmooples the Nug had traveled all the way from the US to come live with us.
Nugs are really cool creatures from the game Dragon Age. My owner and I love the game and the nugs. My owner's OtherHalf knows how much we love nugs, so that's why he invited Schmooples to come live with us.

These are the common nugs, who are about the size of a large rabbit.

This is a War Nug.
He's really big and strong and can be used as a mount.

Schmooples gave me a nuggyback ride to show he's really strong as well.

I think Schmooples and I will get along really well together.

And of course Schmooples wanted to play Dragon Age with us.
Thanks, E.!

Dinogami and Amsterdam

Last week my owner got me a box that contained a book with origami patterns to make origami dinosaurs and colored paper to make them.

I immediately tried the pattern to fold a triceratops.
Here is the result together with a dinosaur that was already folded to give you an example of what you can make with the dinogami box.

I think the triceratops turned out really well.
I made some other dinosaurs as well, but haven't taken pictures of them yet.

Today my owner took me to Amsterdam where she went on a shopping trip with a friend.

We didn't take any pictures in Amsterdam except for this one: a statue of some famous Salvation Army lady.

Back in Groningen I spotted a new store that had a T-Rex building kit!
I know what's on my wishlist now!

We ended our day out by getting sushi at our favorite restaurant.
Yum!
