A New Friend and Lots of Pigs

I made a new friend at work today.
This is Tom and he came from a Cabbage Patch he told me. His owner brought him to work so we all could meet him.

What's this, an army of pigs?

These Piggy Bank pigs were waiting for me when I got home from work. They were send to my owner's OtherHalf because he made the illustrations that are painted on their sides.

See!
These piggy banks will be sold at gift stores, so people can buy them as a present for birthdays and other special occassions, like when someone retires from work or gets married and stuff like that.

A New Friend and a Winner!

Yesterday it was Games Night and one of our friends brought someone for me to meet: 'der kleine
Maulwurf' (the little mole).

We had a great time together and I hope Little Mole will visit us again in the future.

And now for the winner of the button giveaway:

The random number generator has spoken and the winner is Velvet from vvB32 Reads!

Velvet: congrats!

For those who didn't win: I'll be having a blogoversary in January and there are a couple of buttons left so who knows! ;-)

Lots of new Friends

Yesterday we visited some friends of my owner and I met lots of cool creatures!

First I met this weird robot monster!

He looks intimidating, but he was quite friendly.

And I also met R2D2!
I didn't understand all his bleeping, but he seemed like a decent fellow too.

A Dalek!

Don't let his hard exterior fool you, he's a big softy at heart.

Exterminate!!!

There was one creature that I found very intimidating: This Alien Queen.

She hugged me which I found a bit scary, but luckily she seemed to like me.

A less frightening creature was this Komodo Dragon.

The last new friends I like you to meet are these transformers.

Scary Birdy liked to sit on my nose, which was a bit uncomfortable I must say.

All in all I had a great evening and I made lots of new friends.

News from Canada full of Easter fun.

As I told you awhile ago, we had a visit from cousin Moira, who was on her way to Canada to go live there with Marie, a very good friend of my owner.
She promised to stay in touch and she stayed true to her word: today I received Moira's first email with pictures and stories of her life in Canada. I posted both pictures and Moira's stories below:

Hi Sullivan and everyone else. I arrived safely in Canada after a week of traveling.
I already made friends with everyone here and I want to start with introducing you to some of them.
In this picture you can see from left to right: Purple Kitty, then Pinky Pig, Chickie the chick, me and 2 cows - Molly and Sunshine, Diva the chihuahua, Elliot the Elephant, Brown Bear and Grover. As you can see we're following your blog overhere.

Me and Diva the chihuahua became friends immediately. We discovered we have a shared passion for fashion.

We're also getting into the spirit of Easter. Here I am getting ready to paint a large paper mache egg together with Princess, the daughter of Marie. Princess made the egg herself!

Look, I got my own brush to paint the egg.

Here I am on Princess' shoulder overlooking the progress of the painting.
She's doing a great job I think.

Marie also boiled some real eggs to paint.

I got my own egg to paint just for myself.

And here is the finished result, Marie helped me out a bit as it was my first time painting an egg.
I think it's the prettiest egg I've ever seen.

Introducing some of the housemates

As there are lots of other animals and creatures living in the same house as me and my brothers I'd like to introduce you to some of them.
This is Hannelore, a very nice german lady who has just one major flaw: She's not a pig!

This is Travis, one of the many hippos. Travis is a nice guy, he even likes to watch a scary movie from time to time (he hides behind a pillow when it gets too scary for him), but it can be depressing to be in his company for too long.

And this is Chief Hairy Pig.
His hobbies are smoking, telling stories and collecting scalps (well, kidding about the scalps ofcourse, he's a peace chief, not a war chief).
And in case you're wondering about the name Hairy Pig: If you'd ever see him without his blanket you'd understand. Not a pretty sight I can tell you.

New friends

Today two packages arrived for my owner. I decided to stay close as she opened them as you can never know if maybe someone decides to send something interesting for me.

One of the packages only had stuff in it that was interesting for my owner, but the other contained two new housemates: a penguin and a hippo.

Especially Blue, the hippo that lives next to the computer, was very happy with the new hippo. She's the perfect match for him.
