A Walk Down Memory Lane

Today me and my owner went to visit relatives and we went for a walk. It was close to where my owner grew up so it was a walk down memory lane for her.



I saw a sign with a crown on it.

It was from a museum, but it wasn't open today.







We saw a very small harbor.
My owner told me it was for a small ferry that takes people across the river.

This used to be the ferryman's house.







I found a map where I could see what route we were walking.



It was a really beautiful walk.

We were not allowed to walk faster than 30 kilometers per hour here. I didn't track our speed, but I don't think we broke the speed limit.

And when we got back to the house of my owner's relatives there was a pumpkin!

I had a fun day!

A Book for Voodoo Bride

Yesterday we recieved a book as a Random Act of Kindness from Michelle!
This book has been on Voodoo Bride's wishlist for a while so she's very happy with it.

I received an awesome package yesterday!


I won the big giveaway at Gini Koch's blog and she send me lots of cool goodies. Signed copies of both The Night Beat and Alexander Outland, cards, posters, a pen and:

A Trip To Germany

This weekend we finally went on the mysterious trip my owner mentioned. She had arranged a car and we went to Germany. I brought my passport (which Beanie made for me) along.

I saw a Viking sandbox.

And I got to eat baked potatoes.

We traveled all the way to Essen.
I wonder what we're going to do here.

Spiel?
I know what that means: It's the German word for game.
It turned out we were going to a big games convention.

We bought tickets and then we were off to look at all kinds of cool games.

I also spotted this really cool logo.

And guess what my owner's OtherHalf bought for me...

We also bought this game.
It's from the same company that also made Cockroach Poker, one of my favorite card games. I'm looking forward to playing this game, it says on the box that you are allowed to cheat when playing it.

I had a really cool time at the convention and I hope we will go there again some time.

A Trip to Zwolle

Today my owner and me made a trip to Zwolle.
I didn't get out of her bag much, so I'm not sure what the trip was about.

Another Mail Update

I'm still waiting, passport at the ready, for the mysterious trip my owner mentioned, but she promised it will be soon. In the meanwhile I received some cool mail:

Yesterday I received a beautiful card from Beanie.
It shows a painting by Turner. I love his work.

Today we received a package from Melliane.
She send both me and Voodoo Bride a book and some cool swag.

A Party and Zombie Mail

Yesterday evening my owner and me went to a party from work.
The theme was 'Dress To Impress' so we both looked our best.



I tried to get some pictures of the party, but most were too dark.
It was a fun party though with lots of yummy food.

Today there was a really big package for us.

It turned out to be the really cool zombie game we played with Witje a few weeks ago. Witje send it to us as a present. How cool!

I'm Still Around

As you might have guessed I've been doing a lot of reading lately. Add work to that and me and my owner haven't had much time for doing something fun.

But...

My owner promised me we'll be going on a trip soon.
We'll be needing our passports and it has something to do with games she told me.
