Vrijmarkt

Here's a picture of me at the Vrijmarkt (free market (meaning you don't need a permit)) this Saturday. We spend all day selling stuff and enjoying the beautiful weather. We made lots of money which we immediately spend the same evening by going out to dinner with friends. I forgot to take pictures for most of the day, so this one and the picture I posted on Saturday are all I can show you.

It sounds like fun! =D

I remember when one of my aunts, who loved to buy books, would put up a booth at our village's annual bazaar to sell the ones she had already read. I was always sorry to see them go (especially since my favourites always went first!), but she was glad to have the money to buy new books and start the cycle over again! =P

(Now that I think about it, if I had really wanted those books, I should have bought them from her and kept them in the family, aye?)

Nice sale! Is it kind of a tradition from you and your friends to go spend the money going out for dinner after the market?

@Enbrethiliel: This is a great way to make room for new books indeed.
@Hammie: This is only the second time we did this, but it looks like it might become a tradition if we keep doing this.

And yes: people were tempted to buy me, but I was not for sale so they left disappointed ;-)
