Zombies and a Book

I'm still at home with a cold, but hope to be more active again soon.

I did receive awesome mail today though!

A Zombie Tarot!

This amazingly cool tarot deck was send to me and my owner as a (late) birthday present by Laura and Sparky. They know just what I like!

Thanks Laura and Sparky. We're very happy with this tarot and will consult it regularly to see what those zombies have in store for us.

I also received a book today.
A Luring Murder by Stacy Verdick Case is a fun murder mystery which I reviewed at my other blog when it released as an ebook. Stacy was kind enough to send me the print version now that it's released. If you haven't read any of Stacy's books yet, I can advice that you give them a try. They're really fun in my opinion.

Oh, look!
They printed a bit of my review of Stacy's first book in the back of A Luring Murder. How cool!

Thanks Stacy!

Madame Diamond's Tarot Card of the Day

Eight of Swords

The 8 of Swords is a card of restriction, lack of confidence, confinement and being tied down against one's will. The element here is Air which relates to challenges, conflicts and the mental aspects of our lives. The storms on the path of life that we have to navigate through. In numerology a number has positive, negative & destructive influences. The suite of Swords tends to focus on the negative and destructive. The negative aspects of the number 8 in numerology are bullying, abuse, oppression, injustice. The positive aspect are of power and control. With the 8 of Swords the power and control is in the hands of others and the person is suffering at their hands.

Madame Diamond's Tarot Card of the Day

Nine of Pentacles

This card is all about pleasure and power of attraction, of finding a deep and permanent sense of self-value, a solid identity with unique abilities, to be in a position to enthuse and excite others. It includes good management and success in material matters, it is gain but more than worldly achievement. This satisfaction is dependent upon nothing and no one outside oneself. It is also solitary enjoyment, encounters during journeys, pleasure in self-sufficiency and accomplishment and sharing the magnetic power of one's wealth or abilities.

A New Friend with a Special Skill

When I got home from work today there was a female pig waiting for me, with a small pack of tarot cards, a mysterious box and a beautiful card.

The female pig told me she was called Diamond and she showed me what was inside the mysterious box: Cadbury Creme Eggs. Yum! Diamond (and the other cool stuff) was send to us as a surprise by our friends Laura and Sparky.

Diamond also showed me the tiny tarot deck. She told me she can read tarot for people and when she does you should call her Madame Diamond as pigs who can read tarot are very rare so should be be called by an official title when they do so.

Madame Diamond then read my cards for me.
There were a lot of Sword cards and I wasn't sure if that was a good sign, but Madame Diamond told me I had nothing to worry about.

Thanks Laura and Sparky!
Diamond will fit right in here.
