A Walk, A Present, and Muffins

We haven't been doing much lately, but last Sunday we went for a walk.

It was grey and cloudy, but dry.

This horse didn't seem to mind the grey weather. Not very chatty though, just interested in grazing.

Yesterday we received a present from G.

A beautiful blanket in our owner's favorite colors!

It's a really awesome blanket. Hand-crocheted by G. and big and warm! We are over the moon with this special gift.

We also got two buttons, and fun decorative hippos.

And a piggy tissue holder!
So cool.

Here's one of the decorative hippos.

We put the blanket on the sofa bed in our owner's workroom. The colors really fit the color scheme of the room. As if it's made for it!

Today Gilbert helped make Speculaas Muffins.

We went for a fall theme with pumpkins and fall leaves.

Especially the leaves came out looking very cool.

And they are super yummy!

We used to make these every year in the Fall, but the last few years we didn't get to it, so it more a renewal of tradition.
