Gilbert: Schiermonnikoog last few days.

 

We had to get back to work, so that's why I didn't have time to blog about our trip last week.

After we made our way around the big lake that normally isn't there we finally got back on track. 

See: there's he light house in the distance.

We didn't take any pictures at the light house this time, as there was a lot of wind and we wanted to find a spot to sit and have something to eat and drink. When we finally found a spot it was far away from the light house,

After our break we continued our walk. We saw this house that was in  big lake as well. There's usually water around it, but not as much as there was now.

Back in the village we had Fried Fish! Yum!

We got groceries for dinner and relaxed for the rest of the day.

On Thursday we ha a lazy day. We did visit a friend in the afternoon which was really fun!

In the evening we went out for dinner and I had a Gin Tonic  Cocktail.

Friday was our last day!

We visited the tourist center and had hot chocolate with Amaretto at a hotel.

It was a nice hotel, but not as nice as the hotel Sullivan has stayed at, he says.

The weather was miserable.

So we decided to stay at the hotel a bit longer. 

We played pickomino while waiting for the rain to stop.

When it did get dry we made a last walk around he village.

Then it was time to catch a bus to the harbor and take the ferry.
