Wednesday we had a fun evening out with our colleagues.
We were going to learn how to make Tapas!
Tapas are small snacks you eat with your wine, I'm told. It looked like there would be meat involved, so I wasn't so sure about it at first, but my owner said there wouldn't be any pork. I decided to believe her.
When we arrived we got a glass of Sangria.
I thought it was really tasty!
Then we got put to work.
Here's a picture of a smoked beef, mascarpone, almond snack my owner helped make.
She also helped make a pear salsa, and I really wanted a picture of that, because it was really good, but she forgot!
There were lots of yummy small snacks.
I really liked the dates with cocos.
This was a salad that was rolled up in smoked beef.
(That's if my owner is to believed, that is! I didn't eat it, just in case she lied about the no pork thing.)
This pastry had sun dried tomato in it.
Yum, yum, yum!
A spicy potato pie.
Freshly makde pasta with salmon.
And there were so many other yummy things as well, but we didn't take pictures of everything. Making the snacks was fun, eating them and talking and joking with our colleagues even more so!
And for dessert we had Tiramisu!
It was a great evening, and we got all the recipes so we can make these snacks at home as well if we want.
