Yesterday the weather was grey, but we decided to made a trip to Balloërveld anyway.
First we visited the large flock of sheep that lives there. The sheep had just gotten a new stable and seemed to be enjoying it.
Next we took a walk across the Balloërveld.
A short rest among the heather.
A red mushroom!
It's a poisonous mushroom so I didn't get too close.
After our walk we had patat (french fries) with Joppie sauce.
Yum!

Wow that red mushroom is REALLY red. We first thought it was a fake plastic mushroom. The photos are beautiful, and the fries look SO yummy.
Great pics Sullivan, thanks for sharing :) I so want to go on a mushroom finding trip soon.
