Mail and A Book with a Message

I got a Picasso in my mail yesterday!
Beanie send it to me, he saw the real painting at an exhibition.

Thanks Beanie!

I also had a book in my mail. It's the second book in a series which I had to buy because I absolutely loved the first book. I was a bit worried by the message on the front of the book though. I mean: The Hunger Games is a nice read, but I'm actually hoping this book is way better than The Hunger Games.

Is this another UK marketing gimmick?

Indeed! If you don't like the book you can send it to the publisher with a letter explaining why you didn't like it and then you get your money back. 0_o
Worst thing: that Is not a sticker! It's printed on the cover!

Ick for printed on the cover! and I detect a theme in these marketing efforts...interesting.

Nice card from Beanie! You'll have to let us know if the sticker is accurate...

I hate those kind of comparisons, for me often a reason not to buy a book. What do those publishers think? That everyone has read and love the Hunger Games?
How about putting a nice sticker of Sullivan or Voodoo Bride over it?

@Aurian: oh, that is a good idea.

EXCELLENT idea, Aurian!
